Mia pretended not to notice the icy stare from Timothy. In fact, she found him annoying since the day she recovered her memories.

If the Lane family hadn't found her, it would've been tough for her to raise two children all alone.

Besides, it would've been easy for Timothy to win custody of her children, without her brothers' defense.

She looked at Nicholas. "I'll be discharged from the hospital today. Eva told me to eat at home. If you have time, fancy having a meal together at our place?"

"Sure, I have nothing to do in the afternoon anyways."

Mia became the kind of person she disliked....i never expected her character to change like that........i like the story but it seems like the writer ran out of ideas.......

I would love to finish this book, but at the cost that it will cost me no book it worth that much, all the money I have put in it, and not half way through, it ridiculous. I was stupid to spend that amount,Over a 100$ Canadian nope sorry. A very very disappointed reader

Nicholas, don't know his place,he is not even a good stepdad,Mia,need to be careful of him,and teaching kids to lie and be deceptive,is totally wrong, nearly every person in the story,have no respect,and if that the way the rich behave,then there are some very sad people,talk about controlling wow,
