"So are you home today?" Dad asked me for the second time now. When he asked earlier I didn't reply to him because I had no answer to his question.
"Maybe. Why?"
"Nothing. I was casually asking about it." He replied. That was definitely a lie. I knew dad was asking this question to make sure I was fine. Today marks the fourth anniversary of my breakup. Whatever.
"Ok. I don't have any plans for now. Maybe later I will go out."
"Ok. Take care of yourself." He said and disconnected the call. I'm taking good care of myself, there is nothing which will hurt me now because our expectations hurt us and now I don't have any expectations from anyone, I'm happy. I kept my mobile on the bed and looked at my wrist watch. It was still 11:30 in the morning. I don't have many friends here and all those I have are married or committed and today being Sunday, they prefer spen
Aaryan's POV:All these days I always prayed for her to come back but now that she was back, it didn't felt right. She is the same person I loved and yet nothing felt good when I saw her, it was only pain and hurt. She was close, yet very far away from me. I was angry at myself for thinking about her however I was unable to control myself, her face kept flashing before my eyes. Her hopeful eyes, the little smile on her lips everything made me remember her again and again.I looked at my watch, it was 9 p.m. and I was very much sleepy. I hopped on the bed and as soon as I closed my eyes, Aarohi's thought crossed my mind yet again. Where must have she gone after I closed the door? I didn't even glance at her again, where must-have she gone? There was only one person who could have helped me and so I immediately call him."Dad, did you knew about Aarohi's visit here?"
Aarohi's POV:"Where are you?" Aaryan asked the moment I received his call."Hotel. I'm almost done getting ready." I replied."Fine. I will tell someone to pick you up. He will drop you to the hall. Don't worry I will text you the details of the car." He said in a very casual tone."You won't come to receive me?" I asked. I got ready just because I thought he will come to pick me but here the scene was completely different. I have been getting ready for one hour already, I wished to look my best because it was the first wedding I was going to attend with him however I don't think that is going to happen."No." He stated. I was hurt to hear that. All the dreams which I was seeing since yesterday were broke by his single word."I'm going with my friends. Get ready within a half-hour, I will send someone.""Ok," I replied sadly and heard h
Aarohi's POV:Since Aaryan started driving again, I was getting more and more confused. First, he decided to drop me, then he said he will drop me out of the hotel where I'm staying, then he even took me there but when I was, going to get out of the car, he locked it and started driving again. I had no idea about what he was trying to do, I even asked it to him but didn't got any reply. He kept looking at me from time to time with a smile on his face, that's it. There was only one thing which I was happy for, I was next to him and he was not angry about that."Will you answer?" I asked. Same ignorance!"Aaryan, what are you doing?""Driving." He replied. Idiot, I can see you are driving. "I'm not talking about that. Where are we going?""I'm hungry. Remember we left the marriage in between. I thought maybe you are hungry as well and s
Aarohi's POV:What a pleasant morning and worth watching view.Nah, not any scenery, it was Aaryan getting ready standing in front of the mirror. I was sitting on his bed carefully covering myself with a duvet, firstly because it was very cold and secondly because last night I didn't had any clothes to wear and so I had to settle wearing an extra long t-shirt. All Aaryan's fault. "Are you planning to get out of that bed?" Aaryan asked looking at me through the mirror. Nah, I'm too shy for that."After you go," I replied hiding my blushing face. He shook his head and then started fixing his hair again. He was out of the shower and was getting ready because he had some important work, a client was coming to meet him and it was not possible to cancel the meeting. My heart was not ready to let him go anywhere but mind was convinced. Work is also important, ev
Aaryan's POV:"Why are you smiling?" I asked."I'm happy. Euphoric." Aarohi replied immediately. I was standing in front of the mirror, getting ready whereas she was beside me, helping me to dry my hair."And you are the reason behind my happiness." She added with a wink. It feels so good to have a girlfriend who is not a typical shy girl, she is very open when it comes to flirting."When will you come back?"I don't know what is it when she asks this question to me, I don't feel like going anywhere."Stop dreaming about me. I'm not going anywhere. Answer now."Also, she is more bold than I thought her to be and I'm totally loving it."If you say, I won't go anywhere," I said pulling her closer to me."I wish but then again, wor
Aaryan's POV:"Hi, mom," I said cheerfully. I was already very happy because of the last and getting a call from Mom added to it. She does call me every day but today it was early in the morning. I was very excited to tell her about yesterday excluding a few things of course but knowing her reaction, I decided not to tell her anything."Umm...hi." She replied. What happened to her? I was expecting her to be in her normal self, cheerful just like she always is but today there was a hint of sadness in her voice."What happened, mom? Is everything alright there?" I asked and went to close the curtains as my very sweet Aarohi was getting disturbed because of the sun rays. It was 10:40 a.m. already yet she was not ready to get out of the bed"Everything is fine here but I can't say the same about you." She replied. Me? What happened to me?"What is it mom,
Aaryan's POV:"What's wrong?" I asked Aarohi for the third time now. We were back in our hometown and were waiting outside the airport for the car which dad was going to send. Since we sat inside the plane Aarohi looked very disturbed. She was in good mood until this afternoon, I don't know what happened after that. She looked worried as if something was troubling her."Nothing." She replied and shook her head lightly. Is she scared of her parents? Since I met her again, she has constantly assured me about standing for our relationship but now seeing her nervous brought second thoughts in my mind."What are your plans for tomorrow?" I asked changing the subject. I trust her and so I was avoiding to ask any question which will feel like I was doubting on her."Work. I have to report to the office at sharp 9." She r
Aarohi's POV:"Did you talk with your parents?" Aaryan asked while resting his cup back on the table. It was Sunday so we decided to hang out somewhere. After lots of discussion we settled for a mall, we were just walking around when Aaryan had an immediate urge to drink coffee and so he dragged me to the coffee shop where he was happily enjoying his coffee and I was just looking at him."Not yet, did you?" I asked. We both have to talk with our parents and I obviously didn't do it yet, so I wished to know about Aaryan's answer."No. Mom did saw my ring but she didn't make any comment. Moreover, I don't have to get permission from them as I know they will agree with my decision." He said confidently. I don't know about Aaryan but I surely have to take permission from my parents and I don't know when I'm going to do that. I tried to talk with mom but she acts like I'm non-existent and talking to d
