109. The Forgotten Guest

Jessica only returned to her rented place when it was almost dinner time, and that was because Noah's mother kept holding her back. The older woman even forced her to eat ice cream together, and she said that she missed her daughter-in-law so much that she wanted to spend time with her. Jessica couldn't bring herself to say no to the woman, and that was why she spent more time outside than she expected.

When she finally arrived at her rented apartment, she looked exhausted as she placed her shopping bags on the sofa area of her small residence, and she also haphazardly placed herself on the sofa before letting out a tired sigh.

“Noah's mother is very different from her son.
