LOL 4 Distractions

“Yes.” I agree.

“What about you?” I ask.

“I'm still waiting to hear. I got my application in last minute.” He replies.

“Well good luck. And I really mean that.” I say.

“Thanks.” He replies.

“I kind of judged you too.” I scrunch up my nose.

“Oh? What was your opinion?” He asks.

“I thought you were a stuck-up snob. And very judgmental.” I reply.

“Judgmental yes. Stuck up snob? No.” He laughs.

“It's just you ignored me while all your friends were giving it their best shot.” I reply.

“I need to focus on school and leave the princesses alone. I can’t afford the distraction.” He explains.

“Yeah, I need to leave the princes alone too.” I agree.

We just arrived at the house. I didn't want it to end. I really enjoyed his company. But I don't need this distraction. Besides when I leave here, I won't see him again. I don't even know where he's from or where he's going.

“Well, this is me. Thanks for the chat.” I reply.

For a moment I thought I saw desire in his eyes.

“Yes, nice chat. See ya later
