Patty’s POV

Frank thinks he’s my second chance mate. I’m not an idiot. But I would feel the sparks, I would smell him. I get it, he wants a second chance, but I don’t think it’s me. His touch is comforting, and damn, can that boy kiss, but he can’t be right? It’s too soon.

Mom is right, I need to grieve, I need to heal. Then, maybe, I’ll find a second chance mate. If the goddess expects me to jump from Alex to Frank in a matter of hours, she is more fucked up than mom says.
