Chapter 30

Alicia's POV

I fell down, but my friend Ramirez helped me up fast. When I woke up, all I could recall was going out to throw up.

"What happened, dear?" I asked, curious, as Ramirez stared at me, looking really scared.

"It's alright, dear. Guards! Please bring Luna inside," Ramirez said.

"Wait, honey, what's happening? Why isn't anyone answering me?" I asked, just to make sure I didn't do something wrong. I don't know what happened in the two minutes I spent throwing up.

I could hardly walk, and with everything that's been happening, I passed out before the guards brought me to my room.

Throughout the years, I've felt useless and weak under my stepmother's cruel rule.

"What's happening? Why are you breathing so hard?" Ramirez asked firmly.

"There's been another tragedy, and it was even more frightening than before," the werewolf reported, while Ramirez and I stood still, looking incredibly shocked.

I feel like there's a stronger force affecting me, and I see things more clearly now. I
