Alicia's POV

"Well, well, well, look who's here," my stepbrother jeered, his laughter filled with malice. Tears welled up in my eyes as I gazed at him. I had hoped Ramirez would be different, but he turned out just like them. I wondered why the Moon goddess would have chosen three Alphas as my mates.

It was overwhelming, something I struggled to accept. Returning to my kingdom at this hour wasn't the right choice. Being here now only meant one thing – my life was in grave danger.

"Mother, she's arrived," my stepbrother announced, his laughter dripping with malice.
