Chapter 128

Alessia's POV

Knocking on the door while holding a part of my breath, I tried to hold my nervous hands still. For a moment, I wish there won't be a response and I can have an actual reason to running off. But the universe says; not today. It has decided on its own to make the day an unfavorable one for me.

When my mum's voice came from the other side of the door, I sighed in resolve. Cara would have had me return here if I had run in the first place. It's better off this way.

Opening the door, I walked stealthily in. "Hey mum." Her back was turned to me.

"Hmmn." Came her response. "What do you want?"

I almost rolled my eyes, annoyed at the attitude in her tone. Isn't she suppose to be aware that I came to apologize? It's obvious she is feeling herself. Deciding to get it all done with, I cleared my throat.

"I'm sorry for what happened the other day. I already mentioned it to.uncle Joxer that I couldn't weild the sword."
