Alessia's POV"Oh, damn! Peep that bird, it's trying to kick some ass. Looks like someone I know." Allen taunted. Ever since I decided to step out of the room into the garden for some fresh evening air. Allen had taken it upon himself to frustrate me. I wonder if he had been keeping an eye on my door to have known I would be here. I had intentionally stayed indoors until everyone had retired to their rooms. "Can you just leave me alone to myself?" I mumbled. Allen gave me a baffled look, "all of the hours you spent alone in your room isn't normal for a human, but I let it slide. Now that you are out, the best thing to do is have someone with you." "You will get tired." I warned. "Trust me, baby. I live for this. Getting tired isn't in my dictionary."Just as he finished talking, Cara made her way towards us with what seem like a basket of hot steamy meal. The aroma filled the entire space. "Ahhh! Cara is the only reason I want to keep living." Said Allen. Cara slapped the back
Collin's POVWe were about to do something crazy and I am about to lose my mind before it even started. Weekends were the times I used to love, but now i don't think I want anything doing with a moment that gives me a break off school. Making me indulge in scary activities.I had a gloomy look on my face, as we got ready to go on our first spy mission. Patrick and Seth appear really excited except for Wayne and I. We had decided to involve someone who has a wild driving skill. He could get us out of a ditch in a second. Patrick's mum; Carla had kept to her promise of giving off necessarily informations to keep Patrick abreast on what his father might be up to. The plan was simple, get to sneak into their frat meeting and hear how their next move on the upcoming heist would go. Give an hint to those who would be affected and save our heads. That way, the victims would be prepared for the thief's arrival and fight them off. Sounds great, but I don't feel great. Also, it sounds childis
Collin's POVNone of us said anything to each other until we have almost finished a pitcher of icy lemonade that Ester had prepared for us. The rest of the family were all sitted in the living room, awaiting our return eagerly. All eyes were on me, I had almost forgotten the supposed information is in my head and I need to spit it out. I sighed in resolve, dropping my glass. "Can you all quit boring holes into my skin." I mused. "Out with it already, Collin." Seth seem the most impatient. I cleared my throat, "I know this might sound crazy, but this people are raiding the popular antique store near the park at exactly 1am today." Everyone stared at me like I had grown two heads, I poured myself the last drop of lemonade sipping on it slowly. It tastes so good, I don't want it to finish. Wayne burst into a fit of laughter, "are you sure you heard right, Collin? What would they do in an antique store?" Patrick held my gaze, "do you really hear discussions done in whispers?" "Yes,
Author's POVRyan gritted his teeth as he watched the morning news, his blood boiled at every word coming out of the reporters lips. Switching off the television, he burned holes into Tom with his blazing eyes. Glaring hard at the man who looked pale like he would pass out in a second. "You useless thing!" He growled throwing the cup of coffee he had on the table at him. Tom stared in horror, his breaths coming out in pants. He didn't see the glass coming at him, touching his forehead there was a deep gash on it. Fear gripped his entire body, knowing Ryan well. Tom knows he wouldn't mind breaking his head into a surmountable pieces. Pulling at his hair hard, Ryan almost yanked it off the scalp in anger. All of his well planned movement was flopped and he couldn't seem to understand it. Considering how much heist they have carried out successfully. "How did this happen?" He mumbled under his breath. "I have no idea, boss." Tom muttered in a shaky breath. "We were doing it all acco
Author's POV"Do you think he knows?" Patrick asked his mother as they sat in a cafe opposite the hospital. Carla had driven Patrick to the hospital for a check up.Carla stared the smoothie she had ordered, looking disinterested in the content. "Your father knows nothing, he is only playing detective."Patrick looked confused, "what do you mean by playing detective?" "The first time he hit you over the firewall breakage, he was only just trying to see what your reaction might be. Ryan likes to believe he is a smart psychologist, but he keeps forgetting that not everyone will fall for his trick." She explained"Are you saying, he was only trying to be sure we know nothing about it?" Carla laughed lightly, "I have lived with your father for thirty years of my life, Patrick. You think I wouldn't know him enough?" "How long has he been abusing you?" She fell quiet, her eyes darting around the enclosed cafe. "Only happens when he is angry." Anger seeped through Patrick's pores, balli
Collin's POVVictory appears really nice and makes one feel at the top of the world, but maybe that might be the case for Ariel and Seth. But it's a different case entirely on my part. I just have a feeling it would become tougher than expected. I have been trying to reach Patrick all morning and he hasn't been picking. It worries me that something might be wrong with him. What if his father has gotten to know about his involvement. All through the night while we waited to be sure the police had followed up on our anonymous call. I couldn't sleep a wink through the night, my heart was practically in my mouth. I didn't breath well until I saw the news. "Hey." Ariel called behind me, tapping my shoulder. I looked up at her smiling, my eyes scanning the space. "How are you, Ariel?" "I feel really good. Isn't it obvious?" She grinned."I can see that and I am glad you feel that way." She sighed, pulling a chair to seat next to me. "You don't look like it."I chuckled dryly, "I am ok
Alessia's POVI hate being on breaks away from school, spending time in the midst of my family stresses me a whole lot. You only get to spend time off on a weekend when you are out with a family member or your betrothed. In actual truth, I am not a fan of my own family life. After pleading with Allen to take me out of the house, he finally agreed after a five dollar bribe. I despise how much Allen loves money. I would love to wring his neck. But, today I have decided being violent won't help. I had run a quick call at Collin, we talked for a while. Judging by the way he sounded, he isn't really keen on stepping out of his house. Also, I intend to be more cautious of my movement with him. To avoid getting seen in a cozy moment. Patrick still hasn't told me about any plan that he might be working towards as regards the awful union our families are trying so hard to make on our behalf. I should really make a run for it, but there is no way I am leaving Collin here all alone without me.
