Chapter 109

Author's POV

Patrick couldn't believe his eyes, he remembered uncle Gab had mentioned to him that Tom would be trialed for the offence he committed against Ariel. His heart thumped loudly as he forfeited what he intended to do in the kitchen. Heading back up the stairs, he smiled awkwardly at the help as she went back down.

Crouching low, he hid himself next to the tall flower vase near the study. Luckily the door wasn't totally closed. Peeping through the door, Patrick affirmed the person he had seen was indeed Tom.

"You acted so stupid. Why would you force yourself on her? This is why I don't hire Rugrats like you." Ryan spat, distaste evident in his voice as he rose up from the chair and poured himself another glass of drink.

Tom was on his knees, "I am sorry, my Lord," he pleaded Thank you so much for looking out for me and getting me out of that horrible place. I thought I would die there. Just give me a week and I will get her back."

Ryan stared at the man with irritatio
