Chapter Hundred&Eighty-Three

Tara's POV

“Tracy, come on. You need to stop this. You’re hurting yourself terribly” I tried to console Tracy as we sat together in the room.

I had been crying the whole time and wouldn’t listen to my words of consolation

“Tracy…”

The door went open immediately with Cruz and Ron came in. They didn’t even wait for an invitation or anything and I wondered how they were able to know that was our room

As soon as Cruz got to where we were, he landed a heavy slap across Tracy's cheek.

“Argh?” Tracy winced as she held the cheek.

I was surprised and wanted to reprimand him, but you don’t talk back at boys like Cruz.

“How dare you, Tracy?” He snarled. “how could you act so foolish and traitorous?”

Tracy burst into more tears, anger, and regret having the best of her.

“You put your selfish interest above the clan – above the man you claim you love! How could you???”

He lifted his hand to hit me again, but Ron was quick enough to stop him.

“You’re a disgrace to the clan, ” he stated spitefully
