SkylarIt's been six weeks since Samantha tried to find a way to make the twins also biologically mine. It's also been as long since Kennedy thought I'd be able to carry my own child because I have both reproductive systems. She's now twenty-two weeks pregnant and things have turned for the better for all of us. Our bond is at it's strongest and Kennedy has been thankful for no added stress.Everyone from all three clans have been helping her stay at her most calm she's ever been. KennedyI woke up on the entertainment room, still in my leopard form and Kelly had left. The smell of breakfast tells me that's probably where she went. I realize I'm alone and walk out of the room with my head low. Someone tries to scratch my ear and I let out a warning growl.The hand pulls away and I see it was one of Skylar's leopards I've recently gotten close with, Bethany. She goes to walk away but I nudge her side. She notices the sad look in my eyes and scratches under my chin. I step closer, accepting her comfort. "I was on my way back to cuddle with you so you didn't wake up alone," she says in a soothing whisper and I let out a calming breath. KennedyI woke up, wrapped up in a blanket in the middle of the nest of pillows. I was surrounded by a large group of leopards, but the betrayal from yesterday rises to the surface. I discard the blanket and tiptoe naked to the bedroom for a shower. I let the water run along my body and caress my stomach. It feels as if they're the only ones who haven't betrayed me. Granted Skylar and Samantha's clans haven't either, but they all will eventually.I dress in some loose fitting clothes and do my best to braid my hair. I head down to the kitchen to make myself breakfast when I felt someone try to touch me. I whirl around and snarl in half leopard form before realizing it was Eloise. She takes a step back, holding up her hands. I go back to my breakfast and hear as she sits at the breakfast bar.I smell Samantha before she can touch me and snarl at her like I did Eloise. KennedyI woke with Skylar's head resting near my stomach, like she was afraid to leave my side and she'd lose the feeling of the twins from the ritual. Samantha was cuddled at Skylar's back and I hear our door open. It was Eloise. Seeing her after the betrayal of my clan was relieving.I break into relieved sobs, happy that the others weren't harmed while we were split between the communities. Skylar and Samantha both jolt awake and work at calming me down. They both didn't notice Eloise as I reach out to her. She clears her throat and that's when they noticed her in the doorway. SkylarI woke, cuddled with Kennedy in half leopard form. She was still asleep and I saw it was well past dinner time. I nuzzle my cheek against her shoulder, purring and she looks back at me with sleepy eyes. I feel Samantha's pull gets stronger as she quietly opens the door. She sees we're awake and smiles lightly. "The kitchen is empty if you wish to eat. I asked that you both be left alone to rest," she says in a soothing tone and turns to leave the room."Samantha," Kennedy says quietly, switching back to her human form and Samantha turns back to look at her. "Thank you."Samantha bows her head and leaves the room. I help her out of bed and we head down to the kitchen. There was food already waiting for us and I could feel how relieved Kennedy felt. SamanthaIt's been a day since Kennedy went into active labor. She's been pacing the den for the last few hours. Shredded pillows were everywhere. She was exhausted and stopped pacing. She lowers to a squat and Bethany rushes to her. I rubbed at her back as Skylar got behind her.Bethany kneels in her view, holding her furry face. Kennedy sinks her claws in the shredded pillows, letting out a pain filled growl as she pushes. She pants for a minute before pushing against and relaxed as I watch Skylar help gently pull the first cub out. I watch as Kennedy's leopard maternal instincts kick in as she bites through the umbilical cord. Skylar brings the cub to her and she cleans it free of the amniotic sac. KennedyI woke up panting from the worst dream imaginable. The cubs were asleep cuddled with Bethany. I nudge Anna and she looks at me with tired eyes. I look at the cubs and back at her. "Sam and Skylar," she asks with understanding and I look at her with sad eyes. "Go, I'll let Bethany know."I wasted no time, so I ran to the infirmary. I had a bad feeling and I didn't like what I was feeling. It was more a lack of feeling. I couldn't feel the bonds with Sam and Skylar. I run past members of the clan as they call out to me. Sam and Skylar occasionally shift and either play or lay with them to give me and Bethany a break. They've been exploring the clan house with one of us with them or one of Skylar's guards.At the moment they were feeding as I lay in the nest of blankets, getting my ears scratched from Anna. I haven't really been able to sleep much after that dream I had of losing Sam and Skylar. Security was being made air tight as we speak. Bethany It's been three days since Kennedy broke down about Skylar's mother not warning them about Carolyn. Sky does her best to keep her mother away from Kennedy but she still manages to get near her. She has claw marks on her face from Kennedy slapping her in half leopard form. Blood currently trailed down her neck as she sat on the floor looking up at me struggling to hold her back. We quickly came to realize that I was the only one who could calm her when it came to Skylar's mother. Unfortunately I was in the bathroom when she approached Kennedy. I swiftly turn her in my arms and she holds onto me, breaking into uncontrolled sobs. Clan members went to get Sam and Skylar as they were still trying to figure out living arrangements for everyone. Bethany I woke up cuddled with Kennedy in the den. Looking over her shoulder and she was still sound asleep with the twins tucked protectively under her arm. Samantha and Skylar were gone but I could feel them close by, thanks to the mate's bond I now possess. I tuck hair from her face and smile as a faint purr comes from Kennedy. I look up as Eloise enters the den with a light smile. "I just spoke with Sam and Skylar," she says quietly and I nod, knowing she was indicating about me forming the mate's bond with Kennedy. "I just wanted to see how you two were doing, but I'll let her sleep. I know what's going on with the news about Rose and Skylar's mother." Tears fill my eyes and nod lightly. She gives a sympathetic smile before leaving the den. I nuzzle my face in her hair, breathing in her intoxicating scent of orchids. After getting hints of it for weeks, it's the only thing I want to smell and can't seem to get enough of. I feel her leopard reach out and Abigail accepts her.

I immediately saw the hurt look in her eyes and say in a soothing tone, "They went hunting. We don't know when you're going to shift back so they want to make sure there's a fresh kill for you." She gets up and I follow her to the garden. She let out a pain filled growl and I kneel in front of her, holding her face as she pants with relief as it passes. "I need to get you back to the den, I think you're going in labor," I say in a soothing tone. I lead her back to the nest but she was too restless. I rub at her stomach as she nuzzles her face in my stomach while I scratch at her ears. Her breaths were ragged and I helped her get comfortable with her head in my lap.
