“What?”

Tears cringed my eyelids as I held the damaged necklace in my hands. What was I going to do now?

“I’m so never drinking that amount of whisky again...” I rubbed my head saying. I didn’t regret kicking their asses though. It’s just that... my sunlight ornament had to pay for it now which was hurtful.

“I hate when you cry, mate... please stop.”

He stepped closer, saying. “How am I going to get this fixed? Delilah crossed lengths to have this made, and we aren’t anyway closer to her.”

“You can have mine,” Javier suddenly removed his ring, handing it to me. I gulped, bolting my eyes at him.

“Huh? Hey, I can’t accept this. You need it not to get burnt, remember?”

“Not when you’re the dark prince.” he stated.

I blinked as he removed the ring, walking to the sunlight rays the window displayed only to remain unscathed. Walking back to me, he slowly inserted a second ring to my index finger making his fingers contain only our wedding band.
