SCARLETT

I can go out? Huh?

That was an absolute joke.

When I saw him stroll out of the closet room, dressed in a black suit, his hair combed back to perfection, and an expensive black watch on his wrist…I was actually surprised because he was leaving me alone.

He left without a word and didn’t even look back. I followed him all the way out to the front door, like a stalker until he disappeared.

I just had to check if the door was locked, or not so I made my way right to it, pulled it open, and realized he was not locking me up.

This was not enough to make me believe him so I went back inside the room, wore a yellow sundress with tiny black and white flowers before rushing out of that open door. When it clicked closed behind me, my heart almost leaped to my throat.

There was a long hallway before me, with a Gold colored elevator waiting for me at the end.
