SCARLETT

I stayed inside the bathroom, showered, and wrapped a towel around my wet body before slumping down on the bathtub’s edge. All the while, I heard his deep groans of satisfaction as he pleasured himself.

It was torturous because I was fucking marked, and the desire to mate was a primal instinct. I also knew that if I continued to stall this and didn’t mate, I was going to go into heat. It might take a week, two weeks, or four weeks…but it was going to happen eventually. This would be the bond, forcing me to satisfy the urges.

The pheromones my body would secrete were going to attract every fucking unmated male wolf around me, and it would also attract mindless humans that were not even going to realize why they would be dying to get between my legs. This was the mark’s way of making sure that if the one who marked me couldn’t do the rest of the deed, the jealousy would make him go through with it somehow.
