Trouble at work.

Isabella's POV

Before I left, Anne gave me her number. I couldn't tell her that I didn't have a phone but lied that it was somewhere else.

The work was supposed to begin next week. Today was a Thursday, which meant that I had only three days to go. I hesitated at the same time, thinking about what happens if Sierra comes back with a job.

But two days had passed already, practically the end of the stipulated week and yet she hadn't said a thing.

I pushed the thought away. It didn't matter, depending on someone was already risky. Whether or not Sierra said a thing, I already had a job in hand.

So going to Agathe, I explained my plight and surprisingly, she accepted it.

"I'll talk to Felix to drive you around." She said, handing me a phone.

"You can use this in the meantime. His number is there, you can add your employer's number there too."

As I looked at her, I whispered, "Thank you."

She smiled gently, caressing my head "I told you I would take care of you, didn't I?"
