Isabella.

That was where the letter stopped, an inky dot beared the bottom corner to signify its end.

I was left confused, feeling a sense of incompleteness. I put the letter back into its envelope when I felt the slight thickness of the envelope.

There was one more paper.

I opened it with haste, removing the envelope to see a piece of paper folded in a small square. It was made inconspicuous, as though he wanted it to be hidden.

‘Isabella,

I'm so sorry for lengthening this letter. If you wish to skip the words I'm about to say, then you could go to the back page. It has everything you need to know.’

I stopped reading for a moment, contemplating looking at the back page, which looked mostly empty. I chose not to, continuing the letter.

‘I had asked you whether you would listen if I showed you my depths. If the truths which I write on the page will be read. I'm not sure if you are going to read this, or if it is going to be ignored. Nevertheless, I will still write.

    Isabella.Treasure played freely amongst other children.
