"Bring the king here!’’ I shouted at the maid who had brought food into the room where Fenrir had locked me. It was a cell with only a bed, and I despised being confined there, accused of killing Hallie and Danielle. ‘’How could he not trust me?' I yelled, springing up from the bed. I began to pace, unable to believe that Fenrir had thrown me into this cell without hesitation. I didn't want to believe he would betray me.

''Tell the king I want to see him, and I refuse to eat!” I screamed, kicking the food away while hugging my legs. Who would have thought Fenrir would turn against me?

‘'The Alpha King asked me to ensure you eat, my lady,' the maid replied.
