Ava POV

A bright ray of light streaming through the window pierced my eyes, rousing me from my unconscious state. As I stirred awake, my memories came flooding back, and I recalled the events that led me to this place. I couldn't help but feel a surge of anger and frustration towards myself for leaving the safety of the gathering. If only I had stayed close to Treyton and the pack, I wouldn't be in this predicament now.

I struggled against the restraints, but they were too tight. I was trapped, and my only hope was that Treyton and the pack would find me before it was too late.

The world around me was a jumble of shadows and murmurs, and it took a while for reality to congeal into something tangible. I could hear distant, muted voices, as if they were from another universe.
