Ava POV

I was welcomed warmly into Kairo's house.

Her parents were much more like mine as well.

After a brief chit chat with Kairo's parents and adorable siblings, I went upstairs to Kairo's room.

I needed rest so badly but I was also tickling with excitement as I rushed hastily towards Kairo's room.

You could say that my bestie and I were perfect gossip partners.

I gushed with excitement as I entered the room.

My loud screams woke Kairo up from sleep.

She was scolding me when she realized that it wasn't her younger sibling rather it was her noisy best friend.

She was surprised to see me at her home so late, I was less bothered about the look on her face. I just wanted to gist with her about how my training went.

I kept on chattering as my bestie stared at me with her puppy eyes but I wasn't giving in today.

She kept on yawning and yawning till she became tired. She had to eventually ask me to rest so that we would speak the next morning.
