Chapter Twenty-Three

After breakfast on Saturday morning, Jane was herded out of the house by Mae. They picked up June and Missy and headed straight into town to a spa for a day of pampering and relaxation before the Harvest Ball.

Glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice was brought in on a tray with little platters of snacks. They were soaking their feet and laying back with cucumber slices on their eyes, the soothing music in the background making the experience all the more relaxing.

“This is heaven,” Mae murmured.

“Heaven would be half naked men serving our drinks and rubbing our feet,” June said and Jane laughed loudly at that.

“Stop being a pervert, June!”

“I’m with the Luna on that one,” Missy agreed.
