Rage pulsed through my veins when the wolf in front of me shifted in her human form. I felt a flicker of irritation when a grin came out of her mouth. Her eyes drifted to Tasha's direction, who was currently lying on the grass unconscious.

TASHA What am I thinking? Why did I let him do that? I held on to my head, stressing myself out about what happened inside the infirmary. TASHA While Rhio was sitting on the opposite end of the bench, he handed me a bottle of water and said, "Here." I was able to catch a peek of his cheeks, and I noticed that he put a bandage on the wound on his face. None of us said a thing. When he was taking care of the wolf's body earlier, the only thing I could do was avert my look. After everything that took place, I'm still in a daze. I killed an animal with my bare hands, it's not something that I should be proud of. "I won't disclose anything about what happened," he broke the silence. "It's not my business to mind other people's lives so don't stress about it." "It was the very first time that I had ever done something like that," I confessed to him. I fiddled with my fingers to calm myself a bit but it was of no use. "I know," he said. "If you're used to doing something like that, you wouldn't tremble like how you did earlier.
