The Gift

"I'll take the flowers." Without waiting for me to say a word, Aiden snatched the bouquet from my hands and took a sniff at them. "They were real."

"Of course they were real." Penelope and I said in unison which even made it more obvious for both of us. Aiden even dragged his gaze at us, one by one, with long curve lines written on his forehead.

"They were cast from magic spells, Aiden. Magic can make everything real." I explained. "Perhaps I can even make impossible things possible with magic but I just don't know how."

Penelope and Aiden nodded in agreement.

When we arrived at the venue, we could immediately see that Penelope had not been exaggerating. The place was decked out in beautiful decorations, with flowers filling every corner of the room. A live band was playing old music, and waiters were walking around with trays of hors d'oeuvres.
