He didn’t tell me much more other than to try and push my feelings aside for Irina. It annoyed me because there was clearly a reason why they were doing it but I know longer cared. I would protect Irina and my father will see Vivian for what she really is at the ceremony.
As I watch Irina move with the dagger in such a fluid movement, I was amazed. She would definitely make a skilled fighter but again I didn’t understand why she had not stood up to Vivian.

Damien’s POV “It is time son” My father looks on at me proudly as I frown at myself in the mirror. I hated suits, they were so uncomfortable but apparently it was routine and tradition. Damien’s POV “Why father, why is it so urgent I go and get her? Irina wanted to leave” I was planning on going after her anyway but it was annoying me that I still didn’t know the full picture. My father rakes his hand through his thinning hair, he was beginning to look old! “You don’t understand Damien. You have to bring Irina home!” His eyes are wide as he starts pacing and shaking his head “Irina had been planning to leave for a long time father. It’s not something she has just thought about.
