I couldn’t keep it a secret very long. Logan was shifting all over the place, giggling as he swapped between his human form and wolf form multiple times a day. I couldn’t tell him off, he had found that he could do something incredible, what a lot of wolves wait years for. It wasn’t just him though!

Days after his shift, rumours came forward about other children in the pack all being able to shift, they were all younger than Logan, but they all had the ability to shift at will, slowly sending many of their families and other pack members into a frenzy, because no one knew how to cope with a child who could shift.

Standing on the steps of the packhouse, I watch Logan run around with a couple other children his own age, they laughed and giggled as they each turned into their wolf and started jumping on each other.
