Meeting the Alpha

After few weeks, and king Arthur was now feeling better, he summoned his best friend Zeta Luther to accompany him.

No one knew he was going to meet a witch, they didn't want to tell the rest of the pack yet, until they set eye on Jayden.

The secret of a witch bearing him an heir was amongst the three, but the news that he has a son with another woman other than his Luna, has spread like wild fire around the kingdom.

When they set out to go to the witch palace, the rest of the pack were not informed, so no one would secretly follow them.

It was going to be a long journey, they would have to travel for at least three days.

On the third day of their Journey, upon knowing that they were already approaching the palace, Arthur suddenly became scared.

He never used to show any form of weakness Infront of anyone, but on this special day, he isn't sure, what to expect.

He wasn't scared of attack by a witch or wizards, he was just scared of what his first encounter with his son would look like.

"Are you worried that we might be attacked? Luther asked him, but he nodded his head in disagreement.

"Mogana is waiting for me, and she loves me too much to want the kill me. That is not what I am worried about, I am more worried about the man I am going to meet".

"Why do you think he is there? Luther asked again, looking around him in confusion.

"Because last night I dreamt, and I saw a handsome young man, sitting on the throne with Mogana. He has a striking resemblance with my father, he looks fierce and dangerous and he attacked me, when I called him son".

"We have come this far, we cannot go back now, we have to finish what we have started, no matter the cost". Luther answered strongly, and Arthur stares at him admiringly.

"You have always been my best friend, and even though I wronged you, by keeping such secret from you, you still stood by me. Thank you, I will never forget this".

"About that. We will talk about it, in the field, after the coronation, I am sure, you won't be able to beat me this time". That was one way of telling him that he had forgiven and forgotten everything. They shook hands together, but was immediately distracted by a beautiful voice that sounds like music to their ears.

They both turned at the same time, only to stand face to face with Mogana, and she has her magic wand in one hand and a feather in another.

"Arthur, how nice to see you. I personally came to escort you to my palace, to avoid any attack from my people, since we are not in good terms. I would have loved to visit you in your kingdom, and save you the stress of coming here, but I cannot say that you and your people, will be as sweet as I am". The sarcasm in her voice could not be missed, but Arthur was not ready to go down that lane.

"Thank you Mogana, this means a lot to me". Arthur still has his words in his mouth, when Mogana touched both their shoulders, and they transported into his palace at once.

No one was in sight, and not a voice could be heard, it almost seem as though all the witches and wizards have been told to vacate the area, and all the palace guards and maidens have been given a break.

"Where is everybody? Arthur had to ask, for everything was looking too smooth, and he was beginning to feel threatened.

"I sent them all away.

Seeing you, might anger a lot of them. You know how you, and your people sent us away, accusing all of us, for the sin of one stupid witch, who was too stupid to have fallen for a human.

Humans could never be trusted, But Aurora chose to trust them, and where is she now? six feet under the ground.

She wasn't even buried like a powerful witch. She was cremated and her ashes used as manure for the garden of darkness.

As if loosing a witch wasn't enough, the wolves that were our friend had to accuse us and then banished us.

Not like we couldn't fight back, we just had to respect your decision". She paused, moving her head backwards, she looked angry all of a sudden, but she seem to be working too hard to keep it all in.

Then you, I told you I was pregnant, you did nothing to stop me, you couldn't fight for me, you watch them push me away and I cried for many days.

I had our son alone, and locked him with a magical spell that would make him more of a human.

I took him to an orphanage home and dumped him there, but somehow, my spell could not hold him for too long, his destiny started calling on him and I knew I had to bring him to safety, before he gets into a wrong hand.

And now, you are here, because your Queen bore you no heir, when you never cared for the heir you had! She screamed in anger, causing the palace to shake l, as if an earth quake is about to happen.

Arthur looked around him, and within seconds the empty palace was suddenly filled with witches and wizards fully armed with silver weapons, ready to set the wolves ablaze.

Mogana raised her hand to stop them.

I said I don't need any of you here, I want to have a quiet dinner with my son and his father, and when I say I don't need distraction, I mean I need no distractions! That was a command, and just as they had come out of the walls unnoticed, they went back into the walls.

Arthur clears his throat and is about to speak, but Mogana stops him with a raise of her hand.

You came here to see your son, and you will see him. I don't want to hear anything from you. Before I bring him out, I will like to present to you, another person who will be joining us for tonight's dinner. Her name is Astra, she is the chosen bride for our son, though he doesn't know it yet, I wanted to let you know, so you may not bother, finding him a Luna, for he already has a bride.

Astra came out from the walls looking like the most beautiful girl ever, with her silver eyes, and dark brown hair.

Arthur didn't want to say anything yet, even though he has many objections, he still kept his cool, he wanted to see his son first, and just then, the long mahogany door opened and the same image he had seen in his dreams appeared before him.

He turned to face him and greeted with arms open.

"Hello son".
