I was sprawled out on the tile floor of my bathroom, desperately trying to cover myself with a damp towel. My cheeks burned as they entered without my permission, and I frantically tried to scramble back onto my feet. But the floor was slippery, and my flailing legs sent me tumbling back down again.

A cold sweat ran down my spine as the towel slid from my grasp, leaving me completely exposed. I tried to cover my body with my long, curly rose gold hair, but to no avail. The strands were soaked and stuck to my naked body in clumps.

I was rooted to the spot, unable to do anything else but look up in horror at the three figures standing before me.

I looked up in shame to see all three of them—Cheney, Nicholas, and Brian all staring at me—their eyes devouring every inch of my uncovered flesh. Cheney's chest rose and fell faster than usual as his gaze swept over all of my bare skin and settled quickly on my face. A smirk played on his lips when he finally met my eyes.

"Fuck," Cheney drawled menacingly. "Look at her, she's just begging for it. If you want it that bad, fine." He stepped forward, looming closer with each step until he was close enough to touch me.

"No!" I scrambled forward, desperately keeping some distance between us. I stretched out an arm as if that could somehow stop him.

Cheney's large hands came up from behind me and fastened onto my breast with strong hands that were surprisingly gentle as they cupped the swell of my breast and slid along my skin. His rough palms sent a jolt of pleasure through me, followed by a sickening rush of guilt and humiliation as he pinched one nipple before releasing it again.

He pressed closer pushing his body against mine. His breath was hot on my neck as he greedily explored the curves of my body with his fingertips solid fingers. The scent of him filled my nose—soap, coffee, and man, so much man that it blocked out everything else around me.

My breath hitched in my throat as I felt the heat of three pairs of eyes upon me. Fear coursed through me as I imagined what might happen if Cheney allowed them access to my body.

My thoughts ran amok while they waited for an invitation. I could only imagine what they might do to me, how they might hurt me... how much pleasure they would take in abusing me. Their stares were heavy on my skin like a thick blanket woven with coarse hair, and everywhere their eyes fell, I burned with shame and embarrassment.

Desperate and terrified, I tried to push away Cheney's bulging arms which encircled me like a vice grip. The man was a wall of unyielding muscle. I could almost hear him laughing at my futile attempts to fend him off.

His lips were pulled up into a malicious grin as he took pleasure in my momentary struggle. With one final shove, I succeeded in breaking free from his embrace.

"No," I gasped out, pressing both hands to Cheney's chest, feeling the heat emanating from him as I pushed him away. His smirk betrayed an unmistakable sense of victory.

The other men stood in silence, their eyes wide with hunger and disappointment. Cheney stepped away from me so quickly that I barely had time to register his movement.

"What are you doing?" Wintyr hissed, whispered in my mind. "Can't you see how much they want us? Let's make them ours."

"No," I answered back silently, shaking my head. “These guys aren’t for me. They're not even my type."

"Your type is guys like Jimmy. He was a cheat! Or have you forgotten so quickly? All he wanted was your father's money and when that was gone, he moved on to hotter pastures. He took you for granted and then threw you away."

My heart sank as her words reminded me of my greatest humiliation. Anger roiled in my gut, but I clenched my jaw, trying not to remember the pain. Sadly, I couldn't ignore someone who lived inside my head.

I turned to look out at the deep green of the trees beyond the window, taking solace in the peace that stood outside my window. I wish it were so peaceful in here.

"And why are there three of them? This is too much, too fast. I'm still a virgin for goddesses' sake. Why can't you see that these men aren't interested in you for anything except sex?"

The ground pitched and swayed beneath me. Memories of Jimmy, my first love, were like a disease that threatened to turn me into stone. He had been my first love, but also a liar and a cheat.

Jimmy had hurt me deeply when he betrayed our relationship without a second thought, but these three men were supposedly my one true loves according to my wolf spirit. If I chose to accept the fate laid out for me, that is.

It terrified me. Even with all his faults, at least Jimmy hadn't tried to force himself upon me like these three seemed determined to do.

I so wanted to lean into them, to feel their heat and strength, but I stepped back. My wolf's growl rumbled out of me as if she were demanding that I go forward; her short hairs stood on end as if ready to strike.

Their eyes crackled with electricity, like a storm brewing on the horizon, and it struck me deep in my chest. The lust burning inside me threatened to consume me, like lightning striking close by. Its intensity shocked me.

I tried to calm myself, my thoughts spinning uneasily. What was wrong with me?

I wanted to lean into them, to feel their heat and strength, but instead I stepped back. A blush crept up my neck as I felt the wetness between my legs, and I knew that if my wolf had anything to say about it, she'd be urging me closer.

Cheney licked his lips slowly, expectantly. His tongue darted out from between his teeth and swirled inward over his bottom lip before retreating.

It looked like Brian wanted to say something; instead, he looked away. Nicholas kept his eyes on me, his lips thinned like it pained him to want me in any way.

The men stayed put as I pushed back towards the bathroom. My body's response to them was even more confusing. I could feel the heat emanating from them, desire and lust mixed into each breath that they took.

"What are you doing? Why aren't you showing them a good time?" my wolf pressed urgently.

"Listen to me," I whispered back.

Nicholas stepped forward and grabbed hold of my arm, spinning me around with a tight grip so that I faced them. His eyes were burning as he took another step towards me, his jaw clenched and his broad chest puffing out slightly. He didn't want to want me, but the bulge in his crotch—which was stunningly large—gave him away.

"Tell me you like the way our scent makes you feel," he demanded in a low voice. It sounded more like a command than a question. Those ice-blue eyes bored into mine like laser beams.

I couldn't even lie, the truth bubbling up inside me without any warning. The answer fell from my lips before I could stop it.

The next morning, I was groggy and tired, having not gotten much sleep. I had tossed and turned, thinking about my future. How was I going to manage living with three men who despised me, and obviously had not respect or interest in me aside from taking away my innocence?I was wallowing in doubt and self-pity when I entered to dining room to have breakfast with Armand. “Good morning, Beryl. Did you sleep well?” he asked, not looking up from his plate.“Fine.” I lied to him, knowing he would smell it on me, but not caring. I couldn't believe that he lived with his sons and didn’t knows how awful they were. He paused, watching me for a moment. I sat down, and began eating. Bacon, eggs, and fresh fruit. Normally, I would be delighted to have such a delicious breakfast, but today, I couldn’t imagine anything changing my mood. Armand cleared his throat. ” I have something for you.” He watched my face. “I know you’ve had a lot taken away recently, and things have been hard on you.” He p

After the wreck, I had called Armand, who had told me not to bother calling the police. He said he would take care of the car when he had a chance to. I explained to him that it hadn’t been my fault, but he didn’t seem interested, and rushed me off the phone. I was late to class, but didn’t care. I could feel everyone’s eyes on me. The mood I had started the day with was back, and desolation had taken over again. All throughout the day I heard the murmurs and felt the people in class and hallways watching me, talking behind my back. Bitch, slut, whore, look at her clothes, her hair is weird, she doesn’t belong here… All around me, the insults swirled. I even caught the teachers talking about me at one point, “Yeah, that’s Beryl. I heard Anna say that she had slept with the entire football team at her old school.”I heard it all, but I tried my best to not listen. I kept my head down and thought about my old home, the human world, and my mom and dad. I missed them more than ever tod

Trembling, I could feel their eyes on me. Watching me, waiting, judging and secretly laughing at me. I clenched my fists, willing myself not to cry. I would not cry in front of these people. I would never be able to live that down, they would never let me. I was already an outsider, showing them my emotions, that they had gotten to me, would only make that worse. Still in shock and completely embarrassed, I just wanted to just run away and hide, but knew they were waiting for my reaction to Nicholas’ taunt. I had to show them I wasn’t what they thought I was, that I wasn’t afraid of them. I had to prove to them that they couldn’t get under my skin that easily. Even through my frustration and humiliation, I could feel Wynter leaning in towards Nicholas, wanting to be closer to him, and began to lean towards him myself without realizing it. He stalked up to Nicholas, who still held me. Nicholas’ grip tightened on me, but he said nothing.“Your room or mine?” Cheney spoke to Nicholas, but his eyes roamed my body, a slight snarl touching his face when he took in Nicholas’ arms on me. Are they going to share me?My desire, and the wolf whispering inside me, were taking the place of any tiny bit of sanity I had in that moment. Yes, please, yes.
