From Alessia's POV

I listened to Evangeline as she recalled how she met my parents. My father took over the pack after my grandfather passed away. A year later, he met my mother. My father had to meet with the High Council due to changes he wanted to implement. Under normal circumstances, an Alpha never needed to get approvals. Still, because my father wanted to expand the borders to an area that would bring the pack in close proximity to humans, my father would need to get the High Council's approval.

It was at that meeting that he first saw my mother. My father not only left with the approval he needed, but he left with his mate.

Two years later, I was born, and a year later, my brother Adam was born.
