Macy’s POV
I woke up sweating and panting—the same dream again! This has to stop. I can’t keep dreaming about my boyfriend’s brother.
It’s been happening so often, and it’s driving me crazy.
Shaking off the thoughts, I got out of bed and got ready for work. It’s been a week since the party, and I’ve been busy as hell.
Once I was ready, I quickly left the house.
At lunchtime, I decided to eat at the restaurant across the street from my office. As I walked in, I noticed a black car parked out front, but I didn’t think much of it.
After finishing my meal in less than an hour, I returned to work.
When the workday ended, I headed to the parking lot. That’s when I noticed the same black car again.
A strange feeling crept over me, like I was being watched or followed. It made my skin crawl. Trying not to panic, I quickly got into my car and drove off.
Liam’s POV
I couldn’t help it—I needed to see her. Rage wanted her so badly, and it was getting harder to keep him under control.
“Liam, you know we could go to jail for this. This isn’t right,” Greg said, shaking his head.
“Greg, no one’s going to jail. Don’t remind me about human laws. Since when is it a crime to see my mate?”
“It’s not a crime, Alpha, but she doesn’t know you’re her mate. She only knows you as her boyfriend’s brother. Stalking her isn’t the way to go about it,” Greg replied firmly.
I knew he was right, but I didn’t care. It’s been a week since I last saw her, and the bond was killing me. I couldn’t think straight.
I couldn’t eat, sleep, or focus on anything. My father and Greg had been running the pack in my place because I was a mess. The only thing I wanted was my mate.
I sat in the car, watching her through the restaurant window. She looked stunning in the yellow floral dress she wore.
Rage growled softly in my head, his eyes shining through mine as I stared at her.
“You have to tell him, Liam. If you don’t, I will,” Rage said angrily.
“I know. I’ll tell him soon.”
“Tell him today. I’m not staying apart from her any longer. She needs to know who she belongs to—us, not Derick. She’s ours!”
“Don’t lecture me, Rage. I know she’s ours. But she’s human—she won’t just accept us like that. Let me handle this the human way.”
“Oh, the ‘human way’? You’re sitting in your car, stalking her. Very human of you,” he mocked.
“Shut the hell up, wolf. You don’t understand anything,” I snapped, shoving him down and blocking him out.
Greg chuckled beside me. “Talking to Rage again? You look pissed.”
“He’s being a pain in my ass,” I muttered.
Greg laughed louder. “He’s an animal, Liam. He doesn’t think like us. Don’t take it so hard.”
“How can I not, Greg? My brother thinks he owns my mate. My mate is in love with him. And now, I’ve got an obsessed wolf in my head driving me insane. So tell me, how do I take it easy?”
Greg didn’t reply, just stared straight ahead. Yea just what I thought.
When Macy finished her lunch and went back to her office, I stayed parked, waiting for her to finish her day.
Hours later, she finally came down to the parking lot. I noticed her looking in my direction, fear flickering across her face.
For a moment, I thought she saw me, but then I remembered the tinted windows.
“She noticed us at the restaurant,” I said quietly.
“A black car with tinted windows following me? Yeah, I’d be scared too,” Greg replied.
Just then, my phone rang. “Yes, Dad. What? How many? Shit, I’m on my way.”
Greg looked at me as I started the car. “What happened? Why are you driving like this?”
“There’s been an attack on the eastern side of the territory,” I said, my voice tense.
“What? Who would dare attack you?”
“Dad says it’s rogues.”
“How many?”
“Fifteen, but they’ve already killed seven,” I said, my grip tightening on the wheel.
Greg growled. “The hospital is in that area. We better hope things are under control. It’s been too long since I ripped apart a rogue with my bare hands.”
I sped up, my mind racing. My pack was my family. I would die before letting anything happen to them.
When we reached the border, Greg and I jumped out of the car. I immediately mind-linked the warriors.
“What’s the situation?” I asked.
“Alpha, we’ve taken down eleven of them. Four are still running,” Jackson, my head warrior, reported.
“Where are they heading?”
“Toward the pack house.”
“My father and brother?”
“They’re chasing them.”
“Secure the area. Take care of any casualties, block all exits, and don’t let a single one leave alive. Protect the cellars,” I commanded.
Greg and I shifted into our wolves and ran toward the pack house.
Our wolves ran as fast as their legs could carry them. The awful stench of Rogues hit my nostrils as we entered the pack’s territory. Rogue scent was like rotten flesh—the worst smell imaginable. We reached the pack house just in time. My father and brother were both in their wolf forms, fighting off these vicious-looking wolves. Without wasting a moment, Greg’s brown wolf leaped forward, grabbing one by the throat. He was fighting alongside my father. Greg shook his head fiercely until the Rogue went limp.“I need one alive,” I mind-linked before Rage, my wolf, attacked the Rogue fighting with my brother. Rage tore into its neck, ripping it apart with no mercy. The air reeked of blood and death. We had killed all the Rogues except for one, who was now locked up in the pack’s cells for questioning later. But I had more pressing matters at hand. Two of my men had been badly injured in the attack. They were taken by surprise, and it nearly cost them their lives.“Where were you, Lia
Chapter tenDerick's POVYesterday’s incident shook me to my core. It had been years since an attack on the pack, and none of us were prepared—least of all, me. I know I owe Liam an apology for the way I spoke to him in front of everyone. I panicked, and not having him there when it all went down terrified me. Liam has always been the one born for moments like these—the perfect son to lead and inspire. As for me, I’ve never been interested in pack responsibilities. It’s not that I don’t love the pack. They’re my family, and I’d do anything to protect them. But I have my own dreams—dreams of marrying Macy and leaving Waterfall one day.I sat in the living room, waiting for Liam to return. Mom mentioned he was attending to business in the neighboring packs. Hopefully, he’d be back soon.About thirty minutes later, Liam walked through the front door, looking exhausted. Greg was with him. Without hesitation, I got up and approached them.“Liam, welcome home. Can I talk to you?” I aske
Chapter elevenLiam's POVI was busy with paperwork that morning, attending to matters that required my urgent attention. I was still in my office when I heard Mom’s voice through the mind link.“Come, let’s eat breakfast together, son. I made your favorite,” her sweet voice echoed in my head.“I’m almost done, Mom. I’ll be down in a few minutes,” I replied. When I finally got to the dining area, Dad, Derick, and Greg were already seated.“It’s about time, Alpha! I’m starving, and Mrs. Torres here made us all wait for you before we could eat,” Greg teased.I glanced at Dad and Derick, who were both smiling at me.“Mom, why do they have to wait for me to eat?” I asked, raising a brow.“Son, I just wanted us all to start eating at the same time. It’s no big deal—they’re just being dramatic,” she huffed, rolling her eyes.“Alright, that’s enough. Let’s eat,” I said, taking my seat.As we ate, I addressed Dad and Greg. “Dad, Greg, and I have some business to handle in the city. We’ll be
Liam's POVGreg and I arrived in town that morning and parked in front of Macy’s office building, waiting patiently. Just like before, I asked Greg to choose a car with tinted windows, just to be cautious. My wolf and I were thrilled at the thought of seeing her again. Rage had been muttering non-stop in my head all morning, urging me to introduce myself to her as our mate and take her home. I wished it were that simple.“When you said we were coming to town, I didn’t imagine us sitting in a parked car, doing nothing but staring at an office building for hours,” Greg said in a bored tone.“What did you think we’d be doing, huh? Sitting in a bar taking shots or having lunch at a restaurant?” I replied, raising an eyebrow.“That sounds better than sitting here doing nothing. Alpha, we could just go inside, and you could talk to her,” he suggested.“Greg, I’m here for my mate, who doesn’t even know about me yet. You don’t expect me to just walk into her office and introduce myself, do
Macy's POVDreams do come true—now I believe that. I can't believe Liam is in my apartment right now. I mean, I never imagined I’d see him so soon, let alone have him bring me home. Yes, he’s my boyfriend’s brother, and I’m starting to feel something for him something I can’t fully understand. We walked into my apartment. I switched on the lights and led him to the sitting room. He looked around the house and took a seat.“Nice place you have here. It suits you,” he said.“Thanks. I just moved in a month ago. Plus, it’s close to the office, so I like it. Uh, please don’t mind me. I bet you didn’t want to know all that. I’m just blabbing too much.”Why the hell am I saying so much? I muttered under my breath.“You’re not saying too much. I wanted to know too, so it’s alright,” he said, smiling at me.Goodness! He is perfection. His smile is so beautiful I can’t stop myself from smiling too. I look down at my hands and bite my lip, feeling shy in my own house.“Do you want sugar or jus
Derick's POVI checked my watch for the 100th time. I was supposed to surprise Macy today, but I got caught up in an emergency meeting that won’t end. I looked up and stared blankly at Mr. Cole, who wouldn’t stop rambling. This deal is important for my company, so I just have to endure it.It’s surprising because this is the same man I’ve been trying to reach for months, hoping he’d consider signing this deal with my company. Then, out of nowhere, his secretary calls to set up an emergency meeting.“Why is this meeting taking so long, Tracy?” I mind-linked my secretary, who is also a werewolf.“I don’t know, sir, but it won’t be much longer. Please be patient,” she linked back.I shrugged at her answer. Well, I don’t have a choice but to wait until we’re done here.Liam's POV“Greg, how’s Derick?”“Still in the meeting. I just texted Mr. Cole. They’re still keeping him in,” he replied.I nodded at my Beta’s answer. I asked Greg to set everything up with Mr. Cole earlier this morning
Derick’s POVThe meeting lasted the entire day, and Mr. Cole even insisted I have dinner with him. I couldn’t refuse since it was his way of celebrating our new deal. But all I could think about was seeing Macy. I had missed her so much. To make the evening special, I decided to buy her favorite wine and some flowers. When I got to her apartment, I let myself in using the password. One of the perks of being her boyfriend, I thought with a grin as I stepped inside quietly, not wanting to alert her. The sight before me made me smile Macy was passed out on the couch with the TV still on.“She must have fallen asleep,” I muttered to myself.I walked closer and gently brushed away the strands of hair covering her face. Her eyes fluttered open at my touch, and she blinked a few times before sitting up, her eyes wide with surprise.“Hey, baby. You fell asleep on the couch,” I said with a smile.“Derick, what are you doing here?” she asked, staring at me.“I missed you,” I replied, sitting
Chapter 16Macy's POVThe only person I want to be with right now is Liam no one else but him. It hurts me that he left just like that. I still don't understand what's going on. I don’t know why I’m so drawn to him, but I couldn’t care less. Having him close to me is all I’ve ever wanted. He completes me in ways I can’t imagine, and seeing him today brought nothing but joy.Ever since I met Liam at the party, I’ve thought of no one but him. Even my boyfriend, Derick, doesn’t come to mind anymore. I don’t know what I feel for Liam, but I know I never want to be apart from him. So, where does that leave Derick? After Liam left the apartment, I thought about so many things. Why is this happening to me? How can I want my boyfriend's brother? I’d rather not cause any trouble, but I can’t help it. So many questions run through my head.I lay on my couch, trying to understand how my life changed in less than two weeks. Everything was in place before Liam’s arrival. Derick and I were doi
The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue over the pack grounds, as the time for the marking ceremony approached. The air was thick with excitement and anticipation. In the heart of the pack house, the sounds of laughter and chatter filled the air as family and friends gathered to celebrate a momentous occasion. **Mara's Room**In a cozy corner of the pack house, Mara sat cross-legged on her bed, her sparkling blue eyes alight with curiosity. Beside her, Aria sat nervously, twisting her fingers in her lap. “Mara, please! It was just… it was so intense,” Aria replied, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson. “Oh come on! You can’t leave me hanging like that!” Mara insisted, her voice a mixture of excitement and teasing. “You lost your virginity to not one, but two alphas! I need every detail!”Aria giggled, the sound infectious. “Fine, but only if you promise not to tell anyone else. It’s still so surreal.”Mara leaned in closer, her eyes wide with anticipation. “I swear! Cross
The warm morning sunlight filtered through the curtains of Mara’s room, casting a soft glow over the two women sitting together on the bed.Aria, her cheeks flushed with lingering embarrassment, hugged her knees to her chest, her lips curved into a shy smile.Mara, sat beside her, her eyes sparkling with excitement.“So,” Mara began, a mischievous grin spreading across her face, “you have to tell me everything. And don’t leave out a single detail!” She nudged Aria playfully, her voice dripping with anticipation.“I want to hear *all* about last night.”Aria’s cheeks burned even redder as she bit her lip, a nervous giggle escaping her.“Mara…” she mumbled, trying to hide her face behind her hands. But Mara wasn’t letting her off the hook that easily.“Come on, Aria!” Mara teased, her laughter infectious. “You lost your virginity to my brothers! That’s something we can’t just *not* talk about.”Aria couldn’t help but laugh, too, though her face still showed the embarrassment of the nigh
The sun was dipping low in the sky, casting an orange glow across the lake. The soft breeze carried the sweet scent of flowers as it brushed over our skin, but all I could focus on was Aria, our mate. She stood between us, her cheeks flushed, her breathing uneven as the tension thickened around us.Leo and I exchanged a glance, a silent agreement passing between us. Tonight, we would claim her fully, body and soul. And here, on the soft grass beside the lake, under the twilight sky, we would make her ours.“Lie down, baby,” I whispered to her, guiding her down gently. She looked up at me with wide eyes, filled with desire and a hint of nerves. Leo knelt beside her, stroking her cheek softly.“We’re here with you, Aria. We’ll take good care of you,” Leo said, his voice deep and soothing. She nodded, her trust in us evident, and my heart swelled with possessive pride. She was ours.Leo and I wasted no time. As she lay back on the soft grass, her body glistening with anticipation, I lo
My palm itched with a burning need for blood. What just happened was enough to drive anyone insane, how dare those lowlifes come here and threaten us?I could kill that fucker again if I had the chance, and Leo and I? We fear no one, especially not the pathetic Star Crust pack. Our father, being part of the Alpha's council, will undoubtedly handle the situation. But what baffled me was Aria’s sudden outburst, claiming it was her fault and offering to take the punishment. Why would she do that? It didn’t make sense, and that only added to the fury burning within me.Jagao, my lycan, had been restless ever since. The only way to calm him was to let him out. Leo felt the same.Without a second thought, we headed toward the woods, a mutual understanding between us. We didn’t need words to communicate. The second we stepped into the clearing, we both shifted. Our massive wolves hit the ground, their paws sinking into the earth as we took off running at full speed, the tension slowly ebbin
“The fact that everyone knew about this except us still shocks me. It makes me feel so stupid for not noticing the signs.” Mara and I were settled on her bed, thankfully having moved past her tears.“I always thought they hated me, especially Daryl.” A sigh escaped Mara's lips as she took my hands in hers, locking her gaze onto me. “How do you feel about being mated to my hot-headed brothers? Does it scare you at all?” “Not at all. I mean, I was nervous at first, but it turns out they actually like me as their mate,” I replied honestly. She nodded, and for the first time that day, a smile broke across her face before she pulled me into a warm embrace. “Part of me is genuinely happy that you’re mated to my brothers. It means you’ll be living in Waterfall for the rest of your life, and I get to watch you become Luna someday.” Tears brimmed in my eyes at her words, but the last part sent a shiver down my spine. Poor Aria would have to face the reality of becoming Luna one day.“I f
Eventually, I decided to wear a red crop shirt, pairing it with a yellow skirt to avoid unnecessary arguments with my mates. Both men stared at me in admiration after successfully helping me get ready.Daryl fixed my hair while Leo helped me put on my sandals. The feeling of being cared for by them was exceptional; I loved it.My cheeks had remained heated ever since the kisses we shared, and my lips were plump from the kiss, but I relished the sensation.“You look breathtaking, as always.”I smiled at his words, and we stood in front of a full-length mirror, admiring my look. Daryl wrapped his arms around my waist, his face buried between my head and shoulder. He was literally obsessed. Finally, we left the room. When we arrived downstairs, the entire family was present, except for Mara. My heart skipped a beat, knowing she must have learned the truth about the boys and me.I imagined her reaction to this new knowledge; she must be freaking out. Yet she was nowhere to be found as
Aria POV I still remember the first day I met the children of the Alpha; it was the day my mom finally got a job at the waterfall pack house.Mara and I synced shortly after we met; we fell in love quickly, declaring ourselves besties. We both needed one another since we never had friends. Moving from one shelter to another worsened it to keep any friends. We were so glad when Waterfall opened their borders and offered us a home.Daryl and Leo have always been inseparable, ever since my arrival. The boys were not so fond of me, or so I thought since they always found ways to pick on me.Daryl turned nastier, picking on me all the time, ever since the night of my seventeenth birthday party that Luna Macy threw for me. After I foolishly told the truth about being a virgin during our never-have-I-ever game.My nickname came to be ‘Aria the virgin.’ sigh.Growing up with these fine young men messed up with a reserved girl like me, both Daryl and Leo always made me feel some type of way.
Liam's POVFor a minute, I pause in the conversations with a few Alphas that surrounded me, when I notice my son Leo glancing around for something or someone. He seemed worried, so I quickly excused the group. “Son, Searching for someone?” Leo explained everything that happened and the reason they were searching for her. I understood Daryl, his lycan has always been possessive over Aria since they found out she was theirs. “Is something wrong?” Macy asks the second she approaches us. Before we could say a thing, Leo growls as his eyes turn to that of his Wolf.“Fuck! Aria is in trouble…” He yells before Instantly running away. Macy and I follow suit as he shifts into his large Wolf sprinting towards the woods behind the pack house. Gerald and Elaine must have noticed us because, in a few seconds, they arrived at the scene as well.Of course, Jagao killed the young Alpha, and if we did not arrive in time the other might be dead too.We heard of the stories of the first lycan king,
“Let go of me!” Mara screams before pulling away, “What is wrong with you both?”We manage to drag them back Into the pack house, at this point, my beast was getting pissed with them.“Why are you still friends with that loser?” Leo questions, “He is not our friend,” Mara hissed.“Then explain to me why you were seen together.” “It's none of your business, Leo, it is a party and of course, we'll meet people.” “So that's the reason you both are dressed like this?” I asked this time. My gaze was on Aria the entire time.“Nothing's wrong with our dress, Aunt Serai got it for us.” “The Witch!” Leo and I exclaim, the nerves of that old woman, how dare she expose our mate's body!“Everything is wrong with this dress. Especially yours Aria, you look like a slut in it.” I yell angrily. Silence follows afterward, our gaze meet and those puppy eyes stare back in shock. “What the fuck Daryl?” I hear Mara scream, yet our focus is still on one another. Tears dropped down her cheek that mome
