Valerie's POV

I woke up feeling empty and hollow, the events of the previous day still weighing heavily on my mind. The revelation about Helios and Rohan's families, the confrontation, the slap... it all felt like a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from.

I rolled over in bed and buried my face in my pillow, letting out a sob. Why did it have to be like this? Why did they have to deceive me like that?

Diavolo's gentle voice broke through my sorrow, and I felt his hand on my back, stroking me softly. "Hey, Valerie, it's okay. I'm here for you."

I turned to him, tears streaming down my face. "I feel so stupid, Diavolo. I trusted them, and they lied to me."

Diavolo pulled me into his arms, holding me close. "You're not stupid, Valerie. You're just trusting. And that's a good thing. Don't let their betrayal take that away from you."

I sniffled, feeling a bit better with Diavolo's warmth and comfort. "I don't know what I'd do without you," I whispered.

Everything was in ruins. The once-beautiful buildings were now crumbling and overgrown with vines. The streets were littered with debris, and the air was thick with the scent of decay.I felt a wave of despair wash over me. This was supposed to be my pack's safe haven, their home. But there was no sign of my pack.I felt a lump form in my throat as I realized the truth. My pack was gone. They had been destroyed, just like our home.Diavolo's arms wrappe

"I want to tell them that we're getting married."My heart skipped a beat as I processed his words. Married? I hadn't expected that.Diavolo took my hand, his grip warm and reassuring. "I want to make it official, Valerie. I want everyone to know that you're mine, and I'm yours." Diavolo said I felt a flutter in my chest as I looked at him. I loved him, and the thought of spending the rest of my life with him was exhilarating."Okay," I said finally, smiling up at him. "Let's do it."Diavolo grinned, pulling me into a tight hug. Valerie POVAs we were enjoying our hunt, a pack member, Luca, approached us with a look of urgency on his face. "Diavolo, Val, I need to tell you something," he said, his voice low and serious.Diavolo immediately sensed something was wrong. "What is it, Luca? He asked. "It's the triplets," Luca replied, his eyes wide with concern. "They got into trouble and were almost eaten by some kind of... creature. I don't know what it was, but it was huge and vicious."Diavolo's expression darkened, and he exchanged a worried glance with me. "Where are they?" he demanded.Luca led us to the spot where the triplets were huddled together, shaken but alive. As we approached, I noticed a strange symbol etched into the ground nearby. It looked eerily familiar.Suddenly, a woman emerged from the shadows. She was tall, with long, curly hair and piercing yellow eyes. But what caught my attention was the mark on her hand - the same mark I had on my own hand."Who are you?" Diavolo growled, his hackles

"Then it's settled. We'll leave at dawn."I nodded, my mind already racing with the logistics of our journey. We'd have to be careful, cautious. There were still those who would seek to harm Val, to use her for their own gain. But with Ava by our side, and the triplets tagging along, I felt a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, we could make this work. Maybe we could find a way to reunite Val with her family, and keep her safe in the process. As we made our way back to our temporary camp, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the woman walking beside me. Val was strong, resilient, and determined. And I knew, without a doubt, that I'd do any
