Rohan's POV

I sat in front of the computer, my eyes scanning the screens as I searched for any lead on the missing triplets. As the Alpha of my pack, it was my duty to protect our children- The Children of our pack, and I had failed.

The computer room was quiet, except for the hum of the machines and the occasional beep. I was so focused on my search that I didn't even notice the time passing. My mind was consumed by thoughts of the triplets and the other missing children. Where were they? Who had taken them?

As I searched, my mind wandered to Valerie. I couldn't believe I had kissed her. It was a moment of weakness, and I regretted it. Not because I didn't enjoy it - I did. But because it complicated everything. I wasn't ready for another complication between both of us, especially not with Valerie knowing I was trying to get on her good side.
