CHAPTER 11

Rohan's POV

I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as I watched Valerie walk into her house. Something had shifted between us tonight, something I couldn't quite put my finger on.

As I turned to leave, I sensed a presence behind me. Diana. My mate.

"Rohan, can I talk to you?" she asked, her voice tight with tension.

I nodded, feeling a sense of dread building in my stomach.

"What's going on with you and Valerie?" Diana demanded, her eyes flashing with anger. "I've noticed the way you look at her, the way you're always finding excuses to be around her." She said her Voice Cold but Angry.

I sighed, trying to calm her down. "Diana, nothing's going on. I'm just trying to help her."

But Diana wasn't having it. "Don't lie to me, Rohan," she spat. "I know what I've seen. You're distant, cold. You don't spend time with me like you used to." She said.
