Dressed in cloaks, a man and woman stood in the room, both of them watching Kyra's unconscious body.

"How is she?" Kyra heard a voice, clearly male ask someone else in the room.

Stiffening, she kept her eyes shut, afraid that they would figure out she was conscious

Deep breaths, she told herself, attempting to relax and stopping the urge to open her eyes and see where she was.
