Cara’s POV

The forest loomed around me, its towering trees stretching toward the sky like skeletal fingers. Their thick canopies blocked out the light, casting everything in an eerie dark gloom. Each step I took was cautious, careful, yet my mind was anything but steady.

Debby’s final words echoed in my thoughts, she had used her last strength to whisper a plea in my ears. “The Cupbearers, go to the mountains and they will locate you”

I had promised her that I would go. More like I had no choice than to agree to her request, to find the secret pack hidden deep in the mountains. They were my only hope now. She believed they could help me unlock the power that had betrayed me, the same power that refused to heed my call when I needed it most. My wolf altogether with my abilities looked like they were Inna consensus to ditch me. She had been silent throughout the war. But I could feel her gloominess. I could tell she misses her mate.

I tightened the cloak around my shoulders, the chill o

Cara’s pov My heart pounded like a war drum as I sprinted up the worn stairs of the old building. The cold, damp air bit at my skin, but I didn't stop. I couldn't stop. “Cara, wait!” Alice's voice echoed through the empty corridors, filled with concern. Her plea was swallowed by the groaning of old wood beneath our feet, but I didn’t turn back. I forced myself forward, bearing the exhaustion that wanted to engulf me. unshed tears burned my eyes.“Just leave me alone!” I choked out, my voice raw and trembling. I didn’t care how broken I sounded, I just needed to escape this endless nightmare to find some sliver of peace. My pack bluecreek pack is a very big pack. It has many structures and investments to its name. an example is the old building where the servant and the Omegas call home. A building that has been left in the mercy of destruction by my alpha, but seeing that his labor, practically servants were increasing in number, decided to renovate the abandoned property. I

Cara’s pov"it's Alice!" The person behind the door answered amidst consistent banging, I took a deep breath calming my already racing heart. For a moment, I thought it was them.the pounding on the door, intensified, adding to the headache I already had from crying too much over my pitiful life. I managed to get up from where I sat, wiped my eyes, and went to open the door for her.“Oh my God, Cara, are you okay?” Alice exclaimed, grabbing me the moment the door opened.“I…I’m…” I couldn’t finish my sentence before breaking down again, but Alice was there to catch me.“Cara, you need to tell me what happened. Why did the Alpha summon you to his office? Are you in trouble? Please, Cara, tell me,” Alice pleaded, her voice full of concern.I tried to calm down, and after what felt like an eternity, I was able to speak. I told her everything, how Alpha Black planned to sell me off for his benefit. When I finished, Alice, usually so talkative, was speechless. I watched her as she got lost

Cara povs The Party had already started when my escort and I arrived at the park hall. The hall was filled with important personnel in the park like the beta, with his family and the delta , followed by the elders of the park and some other important people. Also, some strange faces were also included in the party, those I immediately recognized as the emissaries of the neighboring park that have come to take us. I was led to the stage where the Alpha was entertaining his guest and also were the other four girls who were also to be taken were seated. I was surprised that I was the last to come, but it probably makes sense cause the other girls have been told a long time ago, while I was just being aware of everything this morning. I took my seat at the table where the other girls were seated with smile plastered on their faces. deep sense of disgust came over me at this girls that probably knew what they were going into but are happy and looking forward to it. Cara povsThe leaves clung to me like damp reminders of the storm that had passed, and the soil beneath me was sticky with mud. Rain had poured relentlessly, leaving me drenched despite my desperate attempt to shelter beneath the canopy of an ancient tree. Three days had passed since I fled the pack, and somehow, I’d encountered neither rogues nor anyone sent after me. The lack of pursuit should’ve been comforting, but it wasn’t. A gnawing guilt clawed at me as I thought of Alice. Had she survived the attack? The thought twisted my stomach, guilt mixing with the ever-present fear. I was a criminal now, a deserter. Abandoning the pack in its moment of need was unforgivable. Even if I wanted to return, my welcome would only be the sharp edge of execution. I sighed bitterly, shifting on the damp ground. Weak. Pathetic. That’s what they’d always called me, and they weren’t wrong. As an Omega, I wasn’t made to fight or survive like others. Sure, we healed quickly, but that wasn’t much he

  • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 5: How did this happen?

Cara povs My vision was blurry as I woke to darkness, the world around me hazy and unclear. Gradually, my eyes adjusted, and I realised I wasn't alone. The old nanny who called herself Debby was sitting beside me. I let out a frustrated sigh, noticing I had been moved from the main room to one of the smaller ones. My body felt heavy, weighed down by exhaustion and weakness as I dragged myself out of bed. "My lady, please," Debby pleaded, her voice laced with concern. "You need to stay in bed until you're strong enough." My head began to clear, and the memory of what had happened flooded back to me. The beast had marked me… The thought was bitter as it echoed in my mind. Hot tears welled up in my eyes and slid down my cheeks. I reached up to touch my neck, feeling the tender spot where his teeth had sunk into my skin like a bloodthirsty predator. The pain was still raw, seared into my memory. Sitting quietly, I reflected on everything that had happened, the reality sinking in

  • Mated To The Rogue King   chapter 6 : "A weak Omega"

Brian’s POV The night was quiet and still. The usual sounds of crickets and frogs were absent, leaving only the rhythmic thumping of the deer's heart echoing through my sensitive ears. As we crouched beneath the leaves, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. I am Brian, the leader of the Mafians Wolf Pack, a group of rogues I created for one purpose: revenge. Most of my packmates were abandoned by their former packs, turning rogue because they no longer belonged. We seek justice, to be recognized as wolves, not as abominations. "Alpha, should we proceed?" Garreth, my brother-in-arms and Beta, asked through the mind link. I focused on the group of deer grazing unaware of the doom about to befall them. Flanked by my warriors, hardened veterans I always hunt with, I counted down. "Everyone, listen for my mark. On the count of 3, 2, 1…" Hell was unleashed as ferocious wolves hidden in the shadows darted towards the herd, with me leading the charge. The hunt was a one-sided

Brian povs My mind was in chaos, filled with anger after the mistake that never should have happened. I’ve been holed up in my office, working non-stop for the past 48 hours. I blame Debby for not doing her job properly, for letting that weak Omega slip out that night. I can't believe I marked her. Of all people, a weak Omega I hissed in anger at what I did. she can't be my mate, never. I growled, pounding my desk, sending papers flying and spilling the alcohol that had been sitting there. A knock sounded at the door before my secretary timidly entered. "Master, is everything alright?" she asked, worry evident in her voice as she kept her eyes downcast. "Ha, yes, Julia, something is definitely wrong," I replied, my mind sparking with the thought of a welcome distraction. I looked up at her, a petite girl who, surprisingly, has lived among monsters yet retained her innocence. She was beautiful, no doubt about that. "Um… okay. I'll be outside if you need me, Alpha," she stamme

CARA'S POV It’s been two days since my mate ran away. The image of his eyes filled with denial and regret still haunts my dreams, replaying over and over in my mind like a cruel loop. He stood there, frozen, his spoils from the hunt dangling in his hands as if they were the only things grounding him. Then, as if things couldn’t get any worse, he fled, rejecting our mate bond. Every time I remember the disgust in his eyes, my heart shatters all over again. The pain is relentless, like a knife being twisted deeper and deeper with each heartbeat. I heard footsteps approaching before I saw her. “My lady, it’s Debby,” came the soft voice. “Go away. I don’t want to see anyone,” I sobbed, curling further into myself. “My lady, I brought food. You haven’t eaten in two days.” She set down the tray, and the aroma of the meal wafted through the room, teasing my senses. “It’s fine, my lady. Master was just paranoid and shocked. I’m sure he’ll come around,” she said in a tone meant to c

Cara’s POVHe had not considered our love. Or at least what we had. Brian threw it all away just to satisfy his guilty conscience. These thoughts kept repeating in my head, for I was knelt in the rubble outside the town hall, my knees buried in the cold dirt, staring at nothing. The sun rose and fell, the air shifting from frigid to unbearably hot, but I didn’t move. I couldn’t. The world around me blurred into an indistinct haze of sorrow, pain, and the heavy scent of ash and blood. Two days had passed, though time had lost its meaning to me.I could hear them. The people. Wailing for their dead, crying for those they would never see again. Mothers screamed for their children; fathers searched desperately for their sons. It was a communion of heartbreak, piercing through the already suffocating silence of a battlefield long abandoned.A man’s voice rose above the cries. his hoarse and broken voice resonated with my heart that was already broken. “No! No, it can’t be her! Please, not

Ryder froze, his expression unreadable. For a moment, he hesitated, but then when I thought he would pounce. He turned and fled into the darkness.“Cara,!!” Emily called my name, making me snap out, focusing on Debby, who was now unconscious but was still bleeding from her wound.“Common, Debby, you have to heal. Please” I chanted nonstop like a mantra in my head. I held her head as I begged her to heal. I tried using my abilities, but still the same empty response. Cara’s POVThe air was thick with tension, my breath coming in short, shallow gasps as I faced the chaos unraveling before me. The lifeless bodies on the floor, the metallic scent of blood, and the cold, taunting gaze of Ryder filled me with dread. Emily was fighting valiantly, but Ryder’s strength was terrifying. He toyed with her as if she were a mere annoyance.I gripped the broken pipe tighter, my knuckles white from the effort. My body trembled, my fear nearly paralyzing me. Did you?” he asked, flashing an evil smile.I ignored his question. Choosing not to answer him. “How did you know about this place. You are working for the council.” I questioned him. By now, we were backed up against the wall of the hall. Ryder still stood a few meters from us, his hands behind him, like he was not in a hurry. • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 112: The Alliance

Cara's POVThe piercing sound of the war drum echoed through the air, sending chills down my spine. All around me, the arena descended into chaos. Brian stood tall, unwavering, his piercing gaze scanning the scene with the sharpness of a predator. The once vibrant faces of the Mafian pack, the people who had gathered for what should have been a resolution to Jules’ rebellion, were now etched with fear and determination.A sudden cry rang out. That was the shout of war acceptance. Warriors and rogues in their wolf form. streamed into the clearing, their weapons glinting in the dim light. I instinctively moved closer to Brian, my heart pounding as adrenaline coursed through my veins. Garreth’s arrival with Brian’s elite warriors was supposed to have tipped the balance, but fate had other plans. Emerging from the shadows like a tidal wave, enemy forces flooded the arena, their banners bearing the mark of the Council. And another symbol I can not make out. Like a sign of three wolves inte

Cara’s POVThe pressure and immense tension that fell over the arena was so thick it could be cut with a knife. At the center of it all stood Elder Jules, his signature smug grin plastered on his face, his arrogance radiating as strongly as the midday sun. He carried himself like an untouchable monarch, reveling in his perceived invincibility.I clenched my fists, forcing myself to meet his gaze. “This isn’t your pack, Jules. It’s Brian’s.”Jules chuckled, the sound cold and sharp, slicing through the fragile silence. “Slow down, young Omega. I am a respected elder of this pack. As such, I have every right to do what I am doing.”A collective intake of breath rippled through the gathered crowd, as though his words carried an unspoken threat. The elders, revered as symbols of wisdom and justice, held an unshakable authority. Even now, despite the undercurrent of fear, no one dared challenge him.“You’re sowing seeds of doubt and chaos,” I said, my voice steady even though anger churned

Cara povI wiped the sweat from my brow and sighed, leaning against the edge of Brian's bed. The clinic was quiet except for the faint rustling of leaves outside. It had been a week since Brian fell into a coma, it was like a gloomy veil covered the whole of mafians wolf pack. the pack had sunk into a gloomy, restless state. Cases of theft and robbery were a predominant situation these days. The once-unshakable Mafian Wolf Pack felt fractured, its foundation weakened without its Alpha. My gaze lingered on Brian’s face, pale and motionless, his strong frame looking smaller and more fragile than ever. I reached out, brushing a strand of hair from his forehead. “You’re stronger than this,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “You always have been.”But no matter how many times I said those words, no matter how many sleepless nights I spent trying to heal him with the powers I had come to fear, nothing changed. Please come back,... come back to me.”The fire inside me surged, brighter and hotter than ever, as if responding to my desperate plea. My connection to him felt stronger, deeper, as though our very souls were intertwined, bound together by something neither of us could deny. I pressed my forehead gently against his fur, feeling the warmth of his battered body. “Come back to me,” I whispered again, tears streaming freely down my face.I closed my eyes, focusing on the bond between us, the bond that had always been there, even when we’d fought it, denied it, ignored it.
