GAZELLE The sound of knocking aroused me up from a sleep I didn't even know I had fallen into. I sat up and rubbed at my eyes, cleaning off the remnants of sleep that clung to my lashes. "Who is it?" I asked when the knocking repeated. Fear was already taking root inside of me, making me cringe with every second of silence that passed. "Your presence is requested at the administrative building. We thought that something might have happened to you seeing as you didn't respond after all of the announcements that traveled via speaker through the school." A stilted voice, that gave no clue to the gender of the messenger, answered. "I'm coming." I called back in a hurry. My body let itself off the bed and I moved with haste out of my dorm room and flew down the stairs. The sooner I got to G-block, the sooner I could halt the increase in the amount of punishment I was bound to receive. As I walked into the building, a voice called over the speaker. "Room 21." I walked up to
GAZELLE'S POV My feet carried me away from the office in quick strides. I didn't want to wait around and have them change their minds or tell me that it was a prank. I raced out of the building, making sure to avoid crashing into any other one of the school's properties. I went back to my room and went back to my bed. I needed.to catch up on some more sleep, but my stomach was growling its annoyance at my missing so many meals. Reluctantly, I forced myself to leave my bed and head into the shower. I took a hurried bath and changed into a clean pair of sweatpants that were huge, and a huge sweatshirt. I considered leaving my new hair down for all of three seconds before I changed my mind and wrapped it up, tucking it safely behind my head warmer - I read recently that it is called a beanie. The walk to the cafeteria was long and silent and I wondered why there was no one out here to mock me or call me names of any sort. By the time I got to the line to get my meal, the woman beh
JORDAN'S POV "What's up, grinch. Still counting your words?" Jeremy made stupid jokes once again as he strolled into the living room of our apartment. I didn't even bother with raising my head from the activity I was engrossed in on my phone. Jeremy was an annoying asshole, and if Jayden hadn't thought it wise to offer him the protection he had sought, then we wouldn't even be here. Plus, he had an unhealthy obsession with getting me to talk, either that, or he actually had issues with me. "Where's Jayden anyway?" He asked again after u blatantly ignored his presence the first time. "At least he talks." I also chose to not respond to his taunting at all. He could go suck some dicks if my being antisocial was such an issue for him. As if on cue, Jayden strolled in. "What's up, Jordan?" I simply grunted in response to his cheerful greeting, to which he chuckled. Unlike everyone else, Jayden was very much content with the way that I ignored everyone unless I felt the need not to.
JAYDEN'S POV We kept going after the little weakling, trying to make sense of the fact that she was in hunt mode. But there was also something awfully wrong with the way she smelled. "Can you smell that?" I passed through my link with Jordan. His wolf looked at me and nodded. "She's both terrified and vengeful. I think she was..." A loud shrieking noise cut of the communication between us and we turned back in the direction we were supposed to be looking. Jordan and I were Alpha wolves, and that made us just a little bit faster and stronger than the average wolf. That and everything we lived through before we came here. We finally spotted the white wolf as she bared her teeth at a young girl with bright pink hair who was shivering in a corner. I sent a wave of my Alpha aura over the environment, hoping that it would help to calm the storm raging in the beautiful, angry wolf. She simply glanced in our direction, her eyes shooting daggers at us. The wolf shook its head and poun
GAZELLE'S POV My eyes snapped open and immediately pain doused me in its cold torrents. I was cold, shivering and tired as hell. What the fuck happened? I felt like I was smashed to smithereens by a boulder or something even heavier. I raised my head slowly off the pillow, dragging my gaze around to get a better view of my surroundings. Where was I? A groan worked its way out of me as I struggled into a sitting position. The room I laid in was adorned with luxuries I knew to only be present in... Shit! Am I in the Terrors' residence? As if on cue the door to the room slid open and in came a very familiar fragrance, one that managed to confuse me everytime I sniffed it in - a mixture of something I would term arousal judging by its description in the books I've been reading, and fear. "You're finally awake. We thought you might need to be doused with somwthing cold first." That was Jayden. He was always so casually cruel, always speaking in a tone that belied the level of crue
JORDAN'S POV I had no idea why it was that I decided to intervene, but I did. And Jayden knew me well enough to ask no questions and only go along with my plans. "You have the wrong person." That was the single sentence I made after I walked into the room. "Excuse you?" Ms. Ines barked out in fury. I had to admit that the woman could be pretty scary, what with her expressionless face and eyes that seemed to see through to your soul, and the stark bluntness with which she made every comment; but she didn't faze me even a little bit. "The person you intend to punish is not the person that should be punished." "You seem to be forgetting who really runs this school, Jordan." She glared at me. "Jayden, talk some sense into your brother." Of course. Jayden was the charming one, the one that everyone believed was the good sheep in our identical herd. My brother simply shrugged and folded his arms across his chest, his own way of letting her know that he had chosen a side already.
GAZELLE'S POV My head was swimming by the time we all walked out of the office. I could see the looks of confusion on the faces of Jayden and Jordan, and to be honest, I felt confused too. I could also tell that something was seriously wrong with Jordan and that lady. Her hatred for me seemed to increase as soon as he walked in, and they kept glaring at each other like they wanted to have each other's throats. Could there be some sort of shared history between them? I mean, there were some comments that felt like they were familiar with each other. "Can you hear me?" Someone snapped in front of me and my eyes suddenly focused on Jayden that looked furious. "I..." I took a step back and shook my head slowly. "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention." "Clearly." He mocked. "If you had knocked that painting down, maybe you would have been able to pay something else." My eyes started scouring the place immediately and I noticed that Jordan was holding a painting that was slant
JORDAN'S POV My head has been filled with angry thoughts since I walked into room 21 to find Ines sitting there. The woman was a snake, deceptive, and very cunning. To me, she was most of all disgusting. I looked around the table at the lack of reaction from Jayden and Jeremy and decided that it was time to put an end to the charade. Having Jeremy speak up them just proved my suspicion. He's the reason Sarah came over tonight. This was all a ploy to disgrace Gazelle. "I'm just trying to be kind to her. She hasn't had anything to eat for so long, right?" Sarah smiled at me in a way that would have fooled anyone but me. "Shouldn't you be more concerned about the well-being of your friend, Gwen?" "She got herself into this, she should be willing to deal with it herself." Sarah spat. "What happened to women supporting women?" I countered in a very calm tone. She flung a lock of hair over her shoulder and scoffed. "That applies to sensible women, not stupid bitches like
