Chapter 14 - Decision

Ava's POV

I know Aunt Janet was watching out for me, trying her best to make sure I was fine, to make sure I was okay, but this was just too intense. This was too much for me! And right now, I do not think I can take it any longer.

I clenched my fist, with tears rolling down my cheeks, I looked at Aunt Janet, who was still standing at the entrance of the door.

"You can never know the way I feel. I was the one who lost her parents, Aunt Janet!" I lashed at her in anger for the first time, sniffing violently; as I moved back slowly, with my cheeks still burning hot, I entered back into the rain, which had already started to drizzle, causing my clothes to get soaked instantly.

“You think I do not know how you–”

“No, you don’t! My parents died without any traces. I was the one who watched them got rid to pieces. You were not the one. And what? You want me to sit by, and do nothing, even when there are chances for me to find out who was behind this murderer?” I yelled in the rain, my tears
