DONOVAN'S POV

Lucky for me, there is an elder council meeting holding today and I intend to use this opportunity to convey the message that the spy had delivered to me. As I dress up for the meeting in my room, a knock comes on my door and before I could invite the person in, the door is gently pushed open and Lori steps in, catwalking majestically as though she already owns the place. It is funny how she is more confident around here now that Alexis is out of sight.

I bet she would die from shock once I bring Alexis back to the castle.

"I didn't ask you to come in." I look past her and focus on buttoning my regalia.
