"I'll be fine. Just do what you can." His voice is raspy and dry.

I attended to his wounds and put in some antiseptic and gauze to seal them and stop them from significant tissue damage and bleeding.

I grab a glass of water at the bedside table that I usually store in here so I can drink whenever I'm thirsty or if I have a terrible dream in the middle of a lonely night.

"Drink this."

I help him drink some water to hydrate; Rolf is quite hot.

"I think you're running a fever. Let me get you paracetamol."

After all this medical assistance, Rolf should really talk.

Leandro asked me this morning to meet two individuals that are very important to him.

I stare at their graves, we utter a prayer, and I thank them and ask them to help us from above.
