Two Letters of Fate

Aiden stares at Ruby in disbelief. His jaw tightened and he finally let out a tired sigh. “Is there something else you are keeping away from me about Sierra?” Aiden questioned with furrowed eyebrows.

Ruby took a seat in front of the Alpha, her face covered with seriousness and fearless expression “Lots of things Alpha. I saved her and raised her on my own… there are lots of things I figured out about her but I hope you will understand that I can’t just tell in her when no one is willing to accept her” Ruby explained.

“Accept her, how?” Aiden questioned.

Even though Ruby wanted to say things that could open his eyes yet she did not want to lay it all on him at once. She sighed and stood up to check on the sick boy.

“With time, everything will come clear Alpha,” Ruby said.

“I’ll give you a week to figure out what the disease is about else I might have to order Sierra back here” Aiden informed her and left to join others at the town hall.
