Chapter 107

Alexa's POV

“Luna, you have to eat something. You haven't eaten anything since this morning,” Kira said worriedly.

I lay on my bed, panting slightly.

“I can't keep anything down, Kira,” I mutter weakly. Whenever I eat, I feel a metallic taste devour my taste buds and my hunger dies down. The constant need to urinate had me consuming less liquid.

“You have to try. Here, eat this,” she replies, holding out a plate to me. Immediately I caught a whiff of the scent, I ran into the bathroom and emptied the entire content of my stomach. My stomach clenches painfully. I sit on the floor, panting heavily. Kira rushes in and helps me up as we walk back to the room.

This has been going on since the previous evening.

“Did you eat anything that could have caused your sickness?” she asks nervously, looking confused.

“I don't know,” I croak, my throat feeling dry and sore. I grab my head which is throbbing painfully in my hands. I can't seem to remember anything I ate that could have ca
