She lifted her head high and looked me in the eyes. I squinted my eyes hoping to the goddess she has the sense not to repeat what she said. But I was fooling myself because she opened her mouth and spoke. “They have done it to us, they made fools of us and had an affair right under our noses. Why can’t we do the same? But unlike them, we don’t have to hide it.”

I looked at the woman trying to see if I could ever do something like that, but nothing happened. I was not attracted to her in anyway. Maybe because I was not Zion, and I didn’t want what was not mine.

“Listen here and listen well. Just because my brother could open his zipper for my mate, doesn’t mean I should do the same. We are not the same and I could never do something like that with you. so, don’t you ever mention something like this to me again.” I was harsh and my words cold.

I didn’t want for her to respond
