Zelene Sallow:We got home, and Ray was the one who woke up Axel rather forcefully. As I stepped out of the car, Oscar blocked my path."What's happening? Aren't you guys coming inside?" Ray, who had become quite curious about who I was hanging out with, complained. He was showing clear signs of jealousy and regret but his ego was still stopping him from accepting it."You go ahead and take Axel to meet Mom. She will be anticipating his arrival. I need to discuss some things with Zelene," Oscar said, using a tone I'd never heard him use with his brothers. Even though they were born on the same day, he had always been respectful towards them, as if they were older than him."Try not to keep her waiting too long. She's got to see Yuna soon," my body tensed when I heard Ray say her name with such affection for the first time. I closed my eyes and turned my head away, avoiding looking at Ray."Yeah, I'm well aware of my daughter's responsibilities," Oscar commented, and I noticed that Ray
Zelene Sallow:"Really?" I showed him the tissue and raised an eyebrow. "So while you were pretending to be so hurt when I talked about leaving you, you were carrying someone else's number with you?""No! and No!" he only shook his head as if he didn't know how to answer me. But he looked petrified of my reaction."So, at what time were you planning to get in touch with this girl? Or have you already taken her out on a romantic date before you acted like, 'Oh, I'm so hurt,' huh?" I muttered under my breath, seething with anger.I continued to stare at him, watching as he shook his head vigorously."No! I mean, yes! It might have been on me, but I forgot about it. I wore that shirt once when I took her to a bar for drinks, and then today, and then..." He paused when he saw me scoff at him."So you two went out for drinks?" I couldn't help but laugh, realizing how messy the situation had become."Just drinks. I was actually upset about us," he gestured toward me and then to his chest."
Zelene Sallow:His finger explored my inner self without mercy, causing me to moan and bite my lower lip. I trembled, unable to break eye contact with him.He forcefully twisted his finger inside me and then tried to insert another one."Ahh!" I let out a yelp, but before I could react further, Axel crashed his lips against mine. I melted under the sensation of his touch.Suddenly, the bedroom door swung open, and in my panic, I pushed Axel away from me as if I had been caught red-handed, doing something forbidden."Oh!" I groaned in frustration, hastily rubbing my sweaty palms over my face to adjust my clothing. My mother stood in the doorway, holding Yuna in her arms.Axel continued to gaze at me with a mild smile on his lips. Then, he turned his attention to my mother, who I'm sure felt extremely embarrassed for not knocking before entering."I'm so..." my mother began to apologize, but Axel shook his head and approached her calmly."Hey, it's okay," he replied cheerfully. "Aww, is
Zelene Sallow:‘Are you planning to talk to anyone about taking Yuna and leaving the mansion?’ Zey asked, her concern evident. Ever since my mother mentioned the possibility of me meeting my parents today, I felt a strong determination to go through with it.‘I have to,’ I replied firmly. I had so many questions about what I had read in the book and why my parents had abandoned me. These questions could only be answered by them, and I couldn't let this opportunity slip away.‘They'll never allow you to leave and meet the Frosters with their daughter. Ever since they started on their path of redemption, they've become overly protective of you,’ Zey pointed out, and I had to admit he was right. The way the brothers had been acting made it clear that I wouldn't receive any special treatment when it came to my desire to meet the Frosters.‘I'm not planning to tell them the whole truth, though. I know they'd never understand,’ I said, rolling my eyes as I watched Yuna sleep in her bed. Axe
Zelene Sallow:"Umm, why?" I stuttered and panicked as Ray gave me a confused look."I mean, you're drunk, and I don't want to go out with you. My mother will be accompanying me," I explained, gulping before quickly adding more words."But--" Ray started to object, but I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms."But what? Oh, I'm sorry! Am I not trustworthy enough to go out on my own without any of you?" I raised my voice, and he shook his head in response. I knew I was manipulating him, but he deserved it."That's not it," he replied in a calm tone, dismissing my concerns. "I just don't want my brothers or my mother to scold you for leaving with Yuna--" he began to explain but stopped when he saw the judgmental look on my face. At least him trying to redeem himself would help me get out of the mansion for a few hours. "You know what? It doesn't matter. I'll handle them if they say anything," he declared. I sighed realizing that my mother had been right. Ray was in his phase of trying to
Zelene Sallow:"Mom!" I exclaimed, attempting to hold onto my mother's arm, but she kept walking towards the woman. "Hey!" I raised my voice and hurried after my mother, but she had already reached them.I stopped in my tracks as the woman slowly pulled back the hood covering her eyes, revealing her face to me. I had already recognized her from her hands and the rings on her fingers, but now I could see her face more clearly."My daughter!" she uttered with a broken smile, reaching her arms out towards me. However, I stepped away from her, my uncertainty and apprehension keeping me at a distance."Don't come any closer," I warned her, pointing my finger in her direction. My heart pounded loudly in my chest and temples, drowning out all other sounds."What's the matter? You were excited to meet your birth mother," my mother turned to me in confusion, her face displaying a lost look as she watched me."This woman can't be my mother," I shouted, breathing heavily as I recalled the way sh
Zelene Sallow:"I don't get it," I said, reaching out for my baby, but Veem kept moving away from me."What's confusing you? You're my daughter, and you belong with the frosters. You should come live with us," Veem gave me a direct look, as if she thought I was being foolish in multiple ways."But I can't. I made a promise to them," I gestured vaguely, trying to emphasize my point."You just admitted they treated you horribly," Veem stated, her voice tinged with frustration. "You told me I left you to suffer with these people. But now that I'm offering you support, you want to go back?"Veem scoffed and blinked as if she were insinuating something."They're treating me much better now," I responded straightforwardly. "I want my daughter to stay with them so she doesn't become a weresin."My bluntness caused a shift in the expressions of Veem's people. They exchanged glances, as if they had objections in mind."Why would you say that? Why would you want to stop her from being herself?"
Zelene Sallow:I squeezed my eyes shut as something plopped down on top of me. It took a few moments for me to gradually start looking around, but it was too late, as drowsiness had already begun to set in.As I teetered on the edge of unconsciousness, I couldn't be sure if I'd ever wake up again. So, as I slipped away, it felt like my life had come to an end. Then, out of nowhere, I felt my heart rate pick up, and the world around me started to sound vibrant once more. Moving my body was a struggle, but as I began to regain consciousness, I realized that I wasn't dead.Summoning the strength to open my eyes felt like a fierce battle, but I managed it. Deep down, I knew I had to stay alert and awake."Ahh!" I groaned, struggling to sit up. As I looked around, I realized I was in the backseat of a stationary car, parked near the woods with the doors wide open to let in some fresh air. It was then that I started to piece together what had happened before I lost consciousness."AHHHHH!"
