" We are being watched."

Zuriel's body goes rigid.

" Put me down," I demand. He walks into the lobby, and once we are there, he puts me down.

" What did you say?"

" I felt like we were being watched," I tell him. He exhales and glances back to the glass door.

" I didn't feel anything," he murmurs, " It must have been your imagination."

I frown, looking at the elevator. Once we enter, I go home. I will see River there. Gosh, she angers me. Zuriel suddenly throws me on his shoulder again. I find myself giggling. He enters the elevator with me still on his shoulder.

" What are you doing?" I chuckle.

" We are from our honeymoon. It is tradition for the husband to carry his wife to the bedroom." his voice is so sexy.

" Bridal style, not like this, barbarian!"

" Well, as you know, I'm coarser," he reminds me. I kiss and bite his shoulder.
