Chapter 123

Bryan's POV

“Hey, have you seen Ciara?” I asked as I stormed into Orion's room.

I paused when I saw him leaning over the baby bed where one of his sons, Jeremy was sleeping.

“Sorry,” I wshoepred and stepped outside.

As I waited for him to join me, I paced the hall wonderingly where Ciara could have gone.

Affair our talk from before, she had been very torn and ridden by guilt.

I had meant well when I advised her to whatever made her happy and it had nothing to do with me trying to get back at my brother.

Those days were far behind us and now I was in support of him but I wouldn't risk Ciara's happiness for him.

If I had to choose between them, I'd easily pick her and Orion would do the same in a heartbeat.

I stopped pacing as the door opened and watched as he walked out.

“What's going on?” He asked as he closed the door behind him. “Why do you look so worried?”

“Ciara has gone missing.” I summarized. “Her phone is switched off and I can't pick up her scent anywhe

Chapter 124 Bryan's POV Orion's shoulders sagged in relief but he had a worried look on his face. I ran my hands through my hair frantically. “Well?” I was trying to remain cool but his silence wasn't helping. He looked at me and offered me a small smile. “Nothing about this is related to Ciara.” I let out a sigh of relief but a sense of dread filled me. “She's still out there.” He nodded and we fell into a tense silence. We understood the implications of this. If Sophia’s letter had contained some kind of information on Ciara's kidnapping then at least we'd have a lead to work with. Now we were back to square one and we had no idea where she was. “I don't know how to explain it but I have this feeling that Sophia is behind this.” I just listened to him, my mind swirling with different thoughts. “Don't you find it strange that all this happened and then suddenly Ciara goes missing?” I nodded because I was thinking the same thing. I found it incredibly suspicious

Chapter 125 Orion's POV I sighed as I watched Bryan go, my heart breaking for him. If I had been only a minute late, Brianna would be dead. “You should talk to him, you know? If he continues like this,...” Brianna started to say but I wasn't having it. I snapped my head back and glared at her. “Don't confuse things, I don't give a shit about you Brianna and the fact that you are my aunt doesn't mean jack to me.” She gulped but didn't interrupt. Wise woman. I continued “Let's just say I need you temporarily to find out something about my mate, however the minute I realize you're not useful to me, I will snuff the life out of you myself.” I stood up and pushed the plate so hard she flinched from the sound. Smirking, I stormed out in search of Bryan. This was harder for him than it could ever be for me. Ciara might be my mate but we haven't been together for over three years. Whereas he had been sleeping and waking up by her side everyday for the last three years so I co

Did she tell you about Ciara?* Bryan fired question after question at me as soon as I set the door in his office. My shoulders sagged at the hope in his voice and I took my feet gathering my thoughts. “Well I take it from your silence that the meeting didn't go as planned.” I shook my head. “I'm sorry but she refuses to give any information. She denied having anything to do with it.” He scoffed and rose to his feet. “Of course she would but I can feel it Bryan, I know they're both behind it.” I sighed. “We need evidence,...” “Until when?” He snapped, cutting me off. “It's obvious that witch and he'd sidekick are behind this and we keep waiting for evidence and a way to prove it so we might be too late to save Ciara.” I opened my mouth to speak and then closed it again. He has a point. “I just want my mate Orion. We were finally in a good place and everything was working out fine.

He had never disappeared like this before so why would he do it now? We had both been pooling our resources and connections together. Finding her becane the ultimate goal and we had been doing so great. Why would he suddenly back down like this? I leaned back in my seat and took a deep breath. “Let's just have the meeting to discuss and we can talk about that later.” He nodded and walked out to call in Gamma Luke and Delta Storm. Once they were all seated, we started the meeting but no matter how much I tried, I couldn't concentrate. Ryan noticed how distracted I was and didn't call me up to comment, he simply handled the entire process like a true Alpha would. Orion's silence was disturbing and I couldn't help but feel like something wasn't right. “The meeting is adjourned,” Ryan announced and I loo

Chapter 128 Ciara's POV “Here's your food ma'am,” I leaned back in my seat and stared at the food that had been placed in front of me. Who kidnapped someone only to spoil them and make them eat to their satisfaction? Since I got here all I had received was treatment fit for a Queen. It didn't make any sense. The room shouldn't be so organized and well lit. In the movies when someone was kidnapped, they were usually thrown in a basement with poor lighting. I didn't hate the fact that I was receiving great treatment, it was just very suspicious. It had me questioning when the punch would come, when I'd fall and when their true intentions would be revealed. I wasn't complaining because If they hadn't killed me off yet it meant they weren't done with me and I was valuable to them. It also meant they needed me to stay alive until they got whatever they needed. “Look who finally decided to wake up,” My whole body tensed as the familiar voice reached my ears. I looked

Chapter 129Orion's POV My desk was filled with urgent work I had to attend to and yet all I could think about was Ciara and how she was doing. After Bryan showed up here last week, it got me thinking that perhaps I had been foolish to trust Sophia so blindly. After all she could have taken a picture of Ciara at another date or perhaps she sent Brianna to take the picture that day but didn't end up capturing Ciara. For all we knew, Ciara was in the hands of some unknown people while Sophia was here milking me for all I had. It was clear she wanted me and was obsessed with me. She could just be using this situation to force my hand. I clenched my jaw and slammed my fists on the table. If that woman was just deceiving me, I would snap her neck before she could even blink. Someone knocked on the door as I leaned back in my seat and I sighed. I muttered a gentle response and closed my eyes not really interested in socializing at the moment. “I have been knocking! Didn't you hear

I grunted and he raised his head. “Speak,” “My King, the killings got the desired reaction from the people.” I nodded, pleased with the reports. “Do you think this is the perfect time to strike?” I asked as I turned my head towards the man seated beside me. Sage Wells grunted but didn't reply. I gritted my teeth not liking his obvious show of disrespect for me but I shrugged it off. He was the oldest man in the werewolf community and people looked up to him. He had been kidnapped and brought to me forcefully so I didn't expect him to be responsive to me. However, he should be scared that I might have his head whenever he is disrespected. He knew, oh but he knew that I needed him and that gave him the confidence to show me up in front of my men. “Well, what do you think Sage?” “I don't have anything to say King.” Even the way he said King felt fake and insulting. Chapter 131 Ciara's POV I closed the toilet bowl and leaned up, wiping my face with the back of my hands. What was happening to me? This was the second time today I was puking my guts out and I hadn't been given breakfast yet. After my little tiff with Brianna, she placed an embargo on my meals. She dictated when I would be fed and what I was served. I didn't think Sophia knew about what she was up to but it wasn't like Sophia liked me that much to stop her minion either. For all she knew I could starve to death as long as she could get Orion to herself in the end. I groaned as I walked back into the room and slumped on the bed feeling weak and completely drained. The door was flung open and I didn't bother to look up knowing it had to be Brianna because her accomplice barely checked on me. The day he kidnapped me was the last time I saw him, not that I was checking for him or anything. “You look like shit.” She said as she saw me and I grunted. I felt like shit too.

"You don't give the orders. I'm the one in charge here."I spat on the ground close to his feet and leaned up with a raised eyebrow. I slid off the bed and made my way towards the door with sleepy eyes. The door swung open violently, hitting my chin. I screamed and stepped back, holding it as pain throbbed from my chin to other parts of my face. “Have you lost your mind?” I shrieked, massaging my sore chin. “What is the meaning of this?!” “Come now cousin, that's no way to talk to me. Remember I control your life now.” A scoff left my mouth before I could stop it at her words. Why was she saying all of this now? My head snapped up and I stared at Sophia in shock. What was she even doing here all of a sudden? “You're shocked, aren't you?” she smirked and walked further into he room, running her fingertips over the bed, the wall, everything. “Why are you here, Sophia?” I asked before I could help myself. She shrugged. “What can I say cousin? I mi

You shouldn't have bothered,” He ignored me and placed the tray on the nightstand. He stopped back and stared at me. “Your brother called to see you again,” I clenched my jaw and grunted. “I don't want to see him, I already told you this,” “Well he is very persistent. I am afraid I have run out of lies to explain why you're not here.” My eyes rolled to the back of my head on its own at his words. I knew how persistent Orion could be and it was really annoying that he couldn't just give me some space. “Alpha please speak to him. He's sorry about everything he did. He didn't mean to lie to you and when you look at it, he had been trying to protect you,” A scoff flew out of my mouth and I glared at Ryan. If looks could kill….. Chapter 142 Orion's POV “He's still not picking up?” I asked and James shook his head. “No Alpha. It keeps going to voicemail,” I sighed and banged my fists on the table repeatedly. What was going on with my brother? Surely he wasn't still mad at me because I called Sophia's bluff? We were both mature adults and we could harsh it out like men. James had informed me that he had been here to see me a couple of days ago but I never received him in office. I had been confused when James told me about it. Why had my brother come to see me but then changed his mind last minute? My heartbeat picked up as I remembered that the same day, Lucas and I had been discussing something sensitive in my office. A gasp left my mouth before I could stop it and I nearly tumbled out of my chair. Could he have heard our conversation? “Alpha?” If he had, surely he'd have barged in and challenged me for lying right? He wouldn't just storm off like that. At least that's what I wanted to

  • Mate for the Feuding Alpha Brothers   CHAPTER 140

Chapter 140 Ciara's POV It's been two weeks since I found out I was pregnant and so far I have been doing a horrible job at hiding it from James and Brianna. The maids have stopped serving me since Brianna took over making it easier to hide since Brianna is as oblivious as they come. In a couple of months from now it would be rather difficult to hide it because then I'd have a noticeable bump. If I was home and had access to my wardrobe then I'd have selected a couple of maternity gowns. Here I'm stuck with shirts and my single pair of jeans that I had on when they kidnapped me. Now there's a slight bump that isn't noticeable except I take my shirt off which I would never do in the presence of these people anyway. I had to think of a way to ask for more clothes or find a way to get myself out of here before my child would be at risk of being used for Sophia's dirty games. It was getting close to noon and since Brianna had already fed me once for breakfast, my next mea

With a frown I sat up as my mind began to race. “Did something happen? What's going on?” What time was it? He shook his head and walked in fully, closing the door behind him. “Good morning to you too,” he teased with a smirk and I raised a brow. “Okay okay, I know this might be weird for you,” “Weird? Try strange, uncomfortable amongst other things,” I sighed and slipped on a smile. “What can I do for you?” His smile grew bigger. “Oh it's nothing I just came to keep you company that's all. If you don't mind of course. I could leave if you don't want me…” He turned his back to me and started to move towards the door. I flew off the bed and grabbed his arm. “No, sorry,” I let my hands fall to my side again and took a step back, my cheeks flushed pink. “What I mean is I'd love to have another human being besides myself in this room

Chapter 139 Bryan's POV “How could you do something like that?” “You weren't thinking clearly,” The heavy words I had spoken to my brother yesterday without thinking came back to haunt me as soon as I laid down to rest for the day. Guilt and a sense of loss filled me. When he had walked out after bowing and calling me ‘Aloha’ I should have realized how much I had screwed except I chose to turn a blind eye and kept fumming. But as I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes, images from that moment started to replay like a film in my mind ripping my peace away. In truth I had been the one who told him to stand up to that dreadful woman and when he took my advice, I had turned my back on him. How could I have been so stupid and judgy why all he had done all these while is trying to protect our mate? He had been forced to sleep with the enemy literally and wine and dine with her while I got to live my life free just without Ciara in it. If I was being completely honest, h

Chapter 138 Orion's POV “Alpha,” James greeted me as I walked past him but I didn't respond. My head was clouded with different thoughts all centered around Bryan and his reaction when I told him how I stood up to Sophia. For someone who didn't want to entertain Sophia from the beginning, his reaction had been less than satisfactory. I had gone there with my head held high feeling extremely proud of myself for sticking it to Sophia and I had expected he'd be proud and pat me on the back. Instead he lashed out at me as if I were a little kid. I hadn't been expecting the completely different 360 reaction he dealt me today and it was still a bitter pill to swallow. My office door slammed behind me but I didn't flinch as I made my way to the chair. Setting down on it, I shook my head as if to expel every negative and hurtful thing he had said to me. Even if he was angry, he shouldn't have spoken to me in that manner and tone. Not even my mother would speak to me the way

Chapter 137 Bryan's POV “Since the killings have stopped, our people have grown more secure and more confident in your leadership Alpha Bryan,” one of the elders said and I almost scoffed at his attempt to flatter me. We were having a council meeting that had started since 7am but my mind was divided. After Old Man Heartfield's visit yesterday, I found myself thinking a lot about Ciara and her wellbeing. I wondered how she was doing and if Sophia was treating her right just like she promised Orion she would when they made their deal. I was going to keep being strong and not give Ciara any reason to worry about me. The less she worried about us, the better for her. All she had to do at this point was focus solely on staying alive and eventually getting out of there in one piece. Once she was safe in my arms again, she could go back to being the worrywart she always was. “Have we found the cause of the killings?” Another elder asked and I looked at Ryan. He flushed an
