Violet POV

He gave me a very annoying stupid grin. As if my anger was consolation for him.

Hold Violet. Don't get carried away. Don't let him entertain because I can't control my emotions.

I neutralized any turmoil and resisted the urge to punch him in the face. The face I used to think was so handsome.

I sighed. Don't judge me. Everyone has their own stupid phase.

"What are you doing here Maxon?"

"Don't be so mean honey. I just wanted to visit"

"You've visited. Now go" I growl.

There is a certain pride because my voice is strangely so badass. Whereas before I don't remember I've ever dared yell at someone like this.

He was silent for a moment before give a deep look "I miss you"

I really want to throw up. "Stop this Maxon. Don't act like we used to be friends and that we parted on good terms"

"friend?" he tilted his head "we were once lovers"

My anger peaked. I bet my face is red now "what kind of lover sells his own partner for money?! I ask you"
