Nikki's POVThe waves from heavy sounds blasting from Alpha Syrill's room are so loud that almost everyone in the gigantic pack house could hear their voices reverberating in their heads, and I couldn't help but sit up to listen and even better understand what's going on there. Syrill's POVNow let the rumour spread.. let everyone know that I no longer have anything to do with Angela, and I'm so certain too that Nella will soon hear about this. Isn't that what she had always wanted, for that poor and innocent girl not to enjoy her time with me? What now has become her gain, branding her as a witch publicly and rejecting her before everyone.. what else would be worse than that? Not even death I guess. I sink into my soft couch, feeling terrible and sniffing the chair to get Angela's scent, but it all seems like she's fine with every puff of her smell. The pain of hurting her beyond her imagination drains the last strength I've got from me, and I'm beginning to feel like I made a very terrible mistake, disappointing her against my numerous promises to her. I wish I could do something about it and make her feel better again.
