I poured my cigarette out of my mouth as the Sona wolves walked in one after the other. Luckily, this time, they came in their human forms and not a lot of people around seemed to know who they were.

Only a handful of people, like Elena, myself and a few elders.

Yesterday, I was about to show Summer the Sona Mark that had been on my back since birth. She thought she was the only one who had the mark…well of course, she'd think that…. She hasn't seen the Mark I had at my back. The truth is, no one has, except Elena who only gets to see a bit of it.

Fact is, no one knows I'm cursed, not even my siblings. But once the Mark gets seen, they'd be aware immediately because it had a description about Sona wolves, their curse and how deadly they are.

I had taken my clothes off and was about to turn to show Summer the Mark when the Sona wolves appeared from nowhere, blocking her vision, hearing and stiffening her body so she doesn't hear or see anything.
