I hate myself for losing you, and oh, I don't know what to do, not sure that I'll pull through. I wish you knew.

Meeting Santiago was a blessing. They didn’t have to wander around, looking for some tourist destinations on their own. He was willing to be their guide and even drive them to great places without being paid over the next two days. Thanks to the power of fanboying. Fortunately, he wasn’t a freak obsessive fan. Thus, they eventually became friends.

The team had treated him to every meal for these past couple of days. However, since it was their last day in Bogota before moving on to the next town, they invited him over to dinner at their place as the last token of gratitude. Gerard and Aaron bought the necessary ingredients for Annaliese, Beatrice, and Gloria to cook an Indonesian dish.

“What is it called? It’s exceptional! I really enjoyed myself. The food you served was out of this world and I couldn’t help but crave more. I haven’t tasted such delici

Annaliese could feel the desperation in William’s voice when he pleaded for a chance to talk in a whisper. For this plan, she didn’t want to involve her best friends. Santiago arrived in the evening, right before dinner. Annaliese told the others to go without her. She didn’t give an answer to their questioning why besides meeting a guy—who was definitely not William. In fact, she knew Gerard invited him over to dinner without her permission. He and Beatrice wanted to meddle in this problem. Anticipating William’s following her, Annaliese reserved a private room in a cozy cafe. She needed her plan to wo

I’m so fed up… Okay?” She stopped walking for a second and showed her wet cheeks. Before she could put a wider distance between them, Santiago grabbed her by the hand. “So, don’t run away from your problem!” he exclaimed. Annaliese burst into tears and sobbed loudly; her face was entirely covered with her palms. She didn’t move an inch, making her look like a crying statue. Santiago ran his fingers through his hair. He was overcome with guilt. Mainly because his mother was so angry and threw the blame at him. He didn't go to his house first to at least put things away but headed straight to the hospital. From the gap between the door of a VIP room, a young woman was seen lying helpless. Hospital equipment was installed all over the body of Rose, his childhood friend. And it kept on going like that until things got worse and her health was declining each day,” he said, his fist covering his mouth. Annaliese wasn’t ready to hear the rest of the story.
