In the evening, upon seeing that it was almost time, Sylvia got dressed and was prepared to go to the ball.

Unexpectedly, Tristan turned up at her doorstep to pick her up.

Sylvia had just walked out of the door when she saw him. He was leaning suavely against his car in a slim-fit suit.

Sylvia was taken aback by the sight of him.

Tristan was also similarly startled when he noticed her outfit. Although she was dressed a little more refined than usual, she was still rather underdressed for the occasion.

He quickly wiped the look off his face and asked, “Hey, Sylvia, are you ready?"

Sylvia replied, “Yeap.”

"Then, let's go."

Since he had taken the time to drive here, Sylvia was not going to turn him away, so she got into his car.

They drove to the venue of the ball, but not before stopping outside a private designer boutique.

Sylvia was perplexed. "Tristan, what are you bringing me here for?"

Tristan cast a look at her, sizing her up and down. Then, he said
