John grew slightly frantic. He gently brushed Caprice’s hair and scrambled for an explanation. "Caprice, it’s not so much that I want Liam to marry into our house. His parents are not going to let him do that anyway. All I wanted to do was to throw in a little wrench so they wouldn’t be in such a rush to get you two engaged.”
