Isabel fixed a look at Caprice and Freya before stating solemnly, “The tickets you bought are legitimate, there was nothing wrong with the machine as well.”

Freya was puzzled by this. “If there’s nothing wrong with the tickets and the machine, why couldn’t we enter?”

Caprice frowned sharply. “Are you suggesting that someone was intentionally targeting us?”

Isabel nodded gravely.

Caprice did not need any further hints to gauge who this person was. “Was it Heather?”

Isabel was surprised. "How did you figure that out?”

“I just had a feeling.”

Heather was the only person who considered Caprice an enemy. Furthermore, there were only a handful of people who could tamper with the ticket machine.

Isabel rubbed her temples.
